VERY striking typographical/graphic styling -- use of color is also very strong... beautiful work! The only critique I would have is the line seems a bit "rubbery", which makes the faces feel a bit mushy...

    Best,
    Jason.

Thanks guys! Jason, I've felt the same about the linework; it's a result of trying too hard to control them. The Zöe Bell piece up there was done looser, it could be a better direction.

Love this style. Especially the THX feel ... light watercoloresque with solid line framework... nice use of color.

Lovely! Wonderful colours and use of anatomy. The flash dude really packs a punch! But IMO, the Zorro picture looks kind of confused in its style, the realistic rendering and use of textures etc, looks artifical and digital to me. I think it wants to do several different styles at once (I didn´t experience this in any of the other illustrations). I would guess that´s the AD`s fault though

    No pain, no gain.

I like how you use solid lines to indicate the wrinkles on the faces. Good works!

These are fabulous! The painterly/graphic stuff and just graphic style... everything is really cohesive and inherently representing some true style. Can totally feel it!

    Great~.

Thanks for all the kind words! I'm very glad that some consider this work a ground for a cohesive style... I hadn't really thought that much of it myself.

I like your style... though Ive noticed that the hand holding the sword in the Zorro one is off... or at least its not holding the sword in any way that I've seen. Also the sword itsef is a bit off. Crosspieces on all rapiers that I've seen allign themselves with the axis that goes front to back, while yours is going side to side. Also, the rest of that gaurd is looking almost like a saber/cutlas hilt while rapiers (which is what Zorro was known to have carried) are/were usually made with cup hilts, swept hilts, or clamshell hilts. Usually when I've seen Zorro portrayed it was with cup or clamshell hilt.

Not trying to be nitpicky, but as the sword is a defining part of Zorro's character I thought it would be worth pointing out.
