Ive got the urge at the moment to be as inconcret es possible.. dunno why.. just messing around.. i hope this will get some nice structure in the near future...
I do a painting of naruto annualy:
2009- will follow after christmas.. (cant wait to see if i made some progress)
soemthing i made inbetween
Long time i was afraid of doing people because i knew i suck.. so i learned for a while and this is my outcoming so far..everything was made from mind. now im going to study alot of anatomy(started already with the neck) and i should consider doing also reallife studys.
Well its a bit early.. but i love halloween and autum... HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY.
this was a picture for a cardgame that im not goingt ofinish anymore
Im on holidays so i wanted to do a little stilllife, because i really need to relax:
This is the setup for those who are interrested:
and this is the first WIP so far. i dont know if i should add something with different colors, because this has alot of yellowish tones and im afraid it will look horrible for outstanding people.
anyway here is the first WIP:
looks like nothing is happening here ... well anyway little update:
Illustration for Telperinquar - Trading Card Game:
every critic is welcome, furthermore i realised that i just have to work on contrast use more easy and reconniseable shapes.
I can already see you've got great potential here.
The last one's colors are particulary nice. Maybe you could move the character slightly to the left so there wouldn't be so much empty space there. Otherwise I can't really crit you at this point. Keep up the good work.

Hey qikalain thanx for checking out my SB in answer to your question about the bargue plate i did find it on the net somewhere but cant remember where!! I have been looking for the download also on my computer but cant seem to find it(i am really messy with everything) i will keep looking and send it your way when i find it. Back to your work in here i love it you have a really different style and your use of colours is amazing i think that if you studied your drawing skills as bad painter said up there you will definitely go a long way keep posting and i will be in touch as soon as i find the plate for you!
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all art and science.
Hallo Qikalain, cool sketchbook so far! I like the Brainbug from #7 and your last post is awesome. To your "expressionistic" style: As far as I know the good expressionistic artists learn to work realistic first and then start to abstract, so with your still-lives and other studies you are on a good way! Try to render your anatomy-studies more, to really get the volume; thats where I have great trouble. [off topic: CA has a spell-checker now!?]
thanks @ all for the kind posts
here is just a small update. nothing big. i just learned alot figure drawing stuff latly and here i tried to see what im able to draw and what im not.
here another still life study
and some random shizzle, that isnt finished because i accidently deleted the psd file...
Hey, the brainbug on post #7 is awesome. And you're on the right track to more awesomeness, keep fighting!
i dont wan to sound like an ass here... but by saying you didnt feel good enough to post on this site makes me feel worse about myself haha! your stuff rules man keep it up
Art and kindness are my weapons of choice.
thank i certainly will ^^
woah thank you. posts like this really make me happy. it feels good to get some compliments from time to time without forcing them out of others.
this was the lineart for a secret santa gift for "amadeus" a user in the german digitalartforum
this was my frst comission ever. i hope i will find another commission soon. was fun to do it. the is a oc for a video or game. i dont know yet. i will post the result, when he finishes it.
this is a illustration for telperinquar, a german trading card game. i hope when this hits the stores i will find my way soon to magic the gathering( thats why i started to draw and paint) http://www.pm-dragons.de/
Holy crap I love your paintings. You have amazing style.
@jeremyg0rd0n yeah i have to work on it but everytime i fall back into the same pattern
some studies, i think im going to makes some more, because those studies inspired me alot. (only the right apple is real and some parts of the forked one.
random character, dunno wanted to try something new
Nice paintings! Really cool sketchbook so far.
I suppose no matter what I'm drawing, there will always be some sort of question in my mind about it. A work of art (even cartoon art) is never really finished; it is abandoned.
