Newborn - Can I keep it?

First time entering a contest here (although I hang here a lot less than I should, I think I've stated that about five times in posts here).

Anyway, reading the contest post it just screamed "Babydragons!!" in my head, and I couldn't shake it. So that's what I'm doing, even though it might be a tad cliché.

After a few minutes fooling around I started getting on to the right track. What I'm going for is that classic scenario where a child have found an animal of some sort, usually puppies, and wants to keep it. Only here, it's a baby dragon.

Very cute. At first glance, I thought it was a baby turtle.

It does look a bit on the turtley side, but that'll be fixed with wings and scales and such. I tried to fix the beak though.

I love the look of it. I also thought it was a turtle at first until I took a really good look.
