Question Does 2048 levels of pressure work on CS3?

Hello, I've read that the Intuos4 2048 levels of pressure only works on Photoshop CS4, all other Photoshop versions only support 1024 levels. Is this true?

I have CS3 and haven't got my tablet yet so am wondering if this is only a myth or if I am really going to benefit from the higher levels of pressure with my copy of Photoshop.

Also, I heard that you can only rotate the Photoshop canvas from the tablet in CS4 and not CS3. Is this also true?

    Any feedback is appreciated.

Canvas rotate is a CS4 only feature (and works regardless of tablet). No idea about the pressure sensitivity thing sorry.

Wacom site did mention that CS3 supports 2048 levels of pressure without any issues.
