Here is an update. I’m afraid I don’t have much free time these days.
I tried to draw some characters from imagination without any reference, but I’m not so happy about how they turned out. Only after scanning and observe them on the PC I realized the horrible anatomy mistakes; most notable the archer’s left breast how did I messed that so badly without noticing it I have no idea. And many more mistakes..bleh
This was supposed to be some sort of thief. I was hoping to achieve more dynamism in hands, something like ‘grab and hold’ but it turned out different.
Nice Loomis studies. I am doing those my self too. I think that your pencil lines are so non-confident on those life nude drawings. On your self portrait I think that you made some anatomy mistakes, but it is cool despite to that. Keep on going, I am enjoying following your work.
Ana Diella – thank you a lot for the encouragement! I’m watching your sketchbook improvement as well; Lyno – thank you very much, I try very hard to improve; LtPlissken – about the pencil lines, I hope to fix that with exercise; the self-portrait has anatomy mistakes because I ruined it mostly when coloring, I liked it better when it was sketchy , but I will soon start to have a self-portrait done every week so I can improve it;
Sorry for the poor quality of the scans, this has to be the worst batch in terms of scanning.
Some quick girl sketches from a magazine, I tried to go for a simple line
I had to work at a project that ate my life for the past couple of months…no time to draw, eat or sleep.
Posting the last stuff I did and didn’t get the chance to upload before the project start.
