here are some things that have yet to be painted and/or finished up
first up a is a hulk bust i have been working on
next are some comission works i've been working on as well.
I liked the way you play with the anatomic proportions. Pure talent!
Really, really good works!
I like the dragon bust and the hulk... well, the girl too, but the dragon just rocks for its design.
Wow you have been busy. very cool to see your work again. Reall love that dragon by the way. Great to see you getting stuff done. I need to get on the ball...
TeaMonster hey there, its great to hear from you. i've been super busy and just havent had time to log on. or keep forgeting to :/ thanks for the kind words
hey there guys here is something i had been working on the the bast 3 months and finally got done like a week ago.
i was comissioned to make a 3 foot dragon for a client. not only did i have to sculpt this guy out of super sculpey (which is super expenisve, excuse the pun lol) i had to mold him and make it cast it out of urethane.
so i decided to sculpt this guy in sections. here i'll show you all the processes it went through.
first up with the armature. i then started to sculpt the head first.
in the first pic i had my mom hold up this big guy because he was too top heavy and couldnt stand on his own (poor amature planning can hurt you down the line as this piece sorta did)
such a dragon would fit on top of my door XD
just awesome O.o
and one question: if you use wood as base, do you mold it later on instead of baking it? or does it work with the wood inside?
Ah, this is wonderful. It's great to see the latest work collected together. Aside from the construction, the colors in your pieces really stand out. I can never seem to pull myself away from the clay long enough to get anything painted. I'm going to need a vacation from sculpting just to take care of that.
And the new dragon is already off and running. I'll be interested to see how you handle the wooden armature elements. I'm intrigued by your process, so I'll certainly be following along with the good work that's on the way.
... a cry went up into the shuddering air, and faded to a shrill wailing, passing with the wind, a voice bodiless and thin that died, and was swallowed up, and was never heard again in that age of this world.
Thank you for the dragon pictures, it helps me (and I am sure others) see things build up from the core elements in style. I can take this and hopefully realise my own creations.
So, where will your imagination take you today?...
here are some pics of the hulk, however these pics kinda suck ( i took them real fast before taking the bust to school and leaving it there on display)
will take some better ones once i get it back.
paint needs a little refining as well.
here is a comission job i'm working on for a client on deviantart.com
the client fully designed this character and the pose she wanted it in.
the creature is tiger women (sorry for the lack of a better name lol)
i havent finished refining the figure and it still needs a tail, but i'd say its like 90% done
Hector, awesome work as always loving the dragon and the new pieces. I still freaking love that Spidey Lizard dio. You are the man! I gotta start working again.
thank you gys for the kind comments! it feels good to be back on these boards, everyone is cool and full of amazing talent.
Your work is greatly inspiring! I've only recently touched on sculpting and this gives me such ideas! Thank you for sharing!
Think the Inconceivable, Desire the Untouchable.
Cool stuff, I'm always impressed by sculpture cause I can't really do it that well.
Wow fritofrito, you have definitely got some talent there. I love the look of your dragons, the skin textures are amazing! please keep us updated on all of these sculpts!
I'm going to live forever, or die trying!
My Sculpture Thread!
maddmaestro: nice to hear from you man, thanks for the kind words.
Corth: thank you very much, i just left you a comment in your thread. keep up the good work.
here are some pics of my dragon bust before i painted it up.
after looking at these, i realized that i have to repaint my guy and pop out the details some more with the paints.
so deviantart.com has set up this new online portfolio thing which i think is really awesome and great for people like me that suck at making websites.
please check it out and let me know what you think

WOW! excelent works! congratulations man.
I'm drooling over your stuff. So good. So freaking cool. I love that huge dragon. Keep up the great work. The portfolio looks really good; it's cool that deviant set that up for people. Webdesign and artists don't mix very well. XD at least the ones I know.

Carnage will be jumping over venom.

Being a Venom fan, I have to say, that's really badass man. I like it! It's really reminiscent of the old and original Venom style. I'm glad you gave him more of a blue hue than a black hue, it really brings him out.
the venom statue looks really cool, Loads of detail,But for me its your dragons that I really like.mmmmmmmmmmm
