Really like that slightly cartoony look. I'm a great fan of drawing at zoos myself (but my drawings aren't half as lively as yours).

those are great! I should try this next time I go to the zoo. I really like the monkey hanging from the vine and the bird in the upper right hand corner. Nice job.

I took another trip about a week ago. I drew some animals that I didn't last time, like the koala, juvenile giraffe, and mountain goat. Here they are.

tarwater - All of them are wonderful! Do you finish them at the zoo or at home?

I sketch them real quick in pencil, then I throw on a quick ink, then block out a few colors with prismacolors, while looking at the animal. When I get home or sometime later at the zoo, I ink it a little more and add more color. The main colors I used this time are sand (one of my favorites), eggshell (also awesome), blonde wood, 20% and 40% warm gray, and deco orange.

I'm really trying to go more often. This latest time was my third time, and hopefully I'll be going again next week.

tarwater - thanks for the info, esp. on the colors you chose. I'd like to go to the zoos again, too (I am lucky and have at least 5 within a maximum of one hour driving around) but it's getting really cold here (and getting dark early, too).

    Enjoy the animals!

I took another trip yesterday. I barely filled up one page. I mostly just watched the animals this time, and I only drew apes.
