    Gobelins - Annecy 2009

No idea what this actually is for, as I cant read French, but it is pretty damn amazing. If anyone can enlighten me that'd be great too.
    Cheers.

    Awesome!
To my understanding those are works done by second year students from the school "Les Gobelins" and that will be shown at this year's Annecy animation festival.
Both the Annecy festival and "les Gobelins" have an english wikipedia article if you're interested.

The Annecy festival of animation is over already, it was from june 8 to 13.

The video is the 5 short movies of animation by the 2nd year animator students at the Gobelins (French animation school), as SM said. It was indeed shown at the festival of Annecy 2009, before each movie projection.
    It's great

Lol i love the gobelin school, their level is impressive, but at the same time, it's pretty hard to enter in this school ! Anyway, they are always doing fucking great animations ! Here is a one i really love from this school :

Les Gobelins is probably the best animation school in the world. They’re EXTREMELY selective of their students (Hardcore history of art entrance exam for example). As it was mentioned, The Annecy animation festival is one of the biggest anim venue.

As of the animations, I can see a lot of modern influences in these openings. Interesting
