Ink Monkeys Sketchbook.
Heya CA its been awhile. So Ill introduce myself, my name is Stan Nelson. Im currently working some freelance on the side with an Ipod app an working on creature design for an online comic. I could use feed back if you have the time. Thanks for stopping in and I hope you enjoy.
First portrait is my Girlfriend she is an amazing artist an has inspired me to try harder Thanks hun you rock.
The other two are friends of mine an the rest is the creature designs for a online comic.

Hey CA just updating with some pics. Been on a TMNT kick me an my gf bought seson 4 of the original cartoons so theres Bebop an Raf in here haha Fun stuff. Im planing on doing most of the cast in time. Oh an a Prototype fan art.

Pretty cool stuff here. I like the creatures. The faces are well done, however they seem to have a problem with the eyes. When they are at an angle, sometimes one eye is too big and one eye is too small. I know for definite that the first sketch has the eye too big on the eye closest to you. Or the right eye. Which ever you prefer to call it. You know, just do some studies. And try them in graphite or charcoal, because although what you did was very daring, pen isn't very forgiving. Since its Self Portrait day I didnt want to miss out on the fun so heres a quicky about an hour or abit more, Ref was a Halloween Picture I dont really have horns although I wish I did haha. Later CA

Hey CA ummm some stuff I guess.
First up Edward Norton from Fight Club. Quick paint for fun. Then some Bird Creature thing... not really sure. An my version of Rock Steady from TMNT, I grew up with the Turtles it had to be done haha. An last a ink self Portrait.

Thanks man. Haven't posted in a loooooooooooong time. My OC crashed and was running ubuntu now went out and got windows 7 so its time to scan and upload again. I've been bussy with our local sketch group and in the process of taking over the Dr Sketchy's PG seeing as the director of it is leaving town. Come on Molly be a sport fingers are crossed.
