    Anyone like snakes?

Lineart, grayscale and finally color. I am no snake expert so a snake reference is used.

Glad to hear any crits or comments.

Looks good. The drawing is very solid, except for the hand, which is sort of close-but-not-quite there--I'd recommend you take a picture of your own hand in the correct pose and use that for reference.

My overwhelming reaction is that you should find some reference for the lighting and skin tones, and rework the rendering of the face based on that. I realize you're depicting a fairly diffuse lighting setup, but the way light's hitting the face just feels very unresolved to me. I hope that's not too vague a criticism.

It's more the light on the face is not the same on the snake; they are not totally matt. Aren't the scales usually a bit smaller, more compact and smoother? Bit more work for you.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

i'd like to see more light on the snake as well, but it's very well done overall. I like the piercings.
