Glad to see you are still working with it. Being good at this is hard, but starting something up in the art world and working to get there is too, if not more so. Impressive work starting out.

I guess if I was to suggest something is do some life drawing. Find a place where people hang out or lounge and do some stick figures just paying attention to proportions and (since it is summer and people will be earing sleevless shirts in lots of places) how their muscles move under their skin. One of the hardest things is getting 2D static images to feel alive. Studies really help with that!

Good work so far. Interested to see where you are going with it all. Sometimes that is the best, just watching and seeing how much people improve over time. Keep the faith, yo!

    Lieutenant, sir!

I enjoy looking at your random goodness. Your sketch studies may not be much, but it's like an explosion of ideas from your mind.

And I'm drawn to this dark style you have. Really like the heavy industry influenced designs and the characters that looks as though they're flesh is slowly rotting away.

Also, it's nice to see that you're playing up with different body types instead of drawing the same ol' boring hourglass shape for your women. I currently see some rectangular and pear-shaped bodies. Play up different shapes of bodies some more, but that doesn't mean you have to give up the big boobies you like drawing.

    Cheers.

Hey plissken! Good to see you're practising daily. It sucks when you feel your work isnt up to your own standards. But that feeling usually means you're at the verge of a breakthrough. Well, thats what i tell myself anyway so keep at it and with every piece ask yourself, why arent you happy? Finding a piece by someone else that does meet your criteria and comparing it to your own can be insightfull here too.

I love the design of the golem in your last post! The anatomy in it feels a little narrow at the moment but the actual concept is great - the crushed-in head is creepy. I can imagine all the little pipes on his suit hissing just behind it. Eurgh. Play around with the anatomy on that and you could have a very intimidating character on your hands.

Nice update! I recently switched to using mechanical pencils, I think they're more accurate and versatile to work with, good to see just how devoted you are, it's paying off!

You should really start drawing figures in perspective, while keeping in mind the proportions when the figures are fore-shortened.

Your work has improved big time since when I last saw it. Also, the human/animal pics are top notch! Keep it up. One thing I have to say though, y'know the wimminz with huge boobs, I cant help but feel the area surrounding the nipples are a bit too large, theyre like plates man. Im not sure if thats intentional but whatever. Keep it up!
