    Hello, hello! Looks like you're working well, I like the colours you used in the last pic, Like Surion said there, you might want to look at them arms/hands, but so far so good.

    Keep up the good work! :'D

    Surion;
    thank you, glad that you liked my last pencils.
    I was totally relaxed doing that one. I know, this last concept
    is far from good. Maybe I will work on it later.
    Stay tuned.

    Naidy;
    More than honored, when I see your posts here. I will
    try to fix the arms and generally the anatomy. Thank you
    for the tips. I will certainly remember your good deeds.

    Thorne;
    thank you very much.
    Stay close, there will be more.

    Kungfoowiz;
    yo bro!
    I will try to train even harder in the near future.
    Thank you for being with me, I really respect that.

    Emil;
    thank you for your time. I am happy that you have
    visited my sketchbook again. I will surely return the
    favor.

    Not so much today, I feel a little bit f*cked up, and
    tomorrow I will have to do something, something
    about I better not think right now, cause then,
    all will go black.
    Thank you all for supporting me and for viewing my
    drawings/paintings.
    Will catch you all, later.

    Graphite pencil drawings, mostly from imagination;

    Forms are improving, try to play with your line width too to suggest form as well.

    Great batch of sketches, I do believe you're getting better at faces+ detail.

    Though, that said, I really like the sketch of the soldiers too, maybe it's the composition of it?
    I think it'd make a good painting.

    Anyways, keep up the good work mate!

    Hey, nice sb! Your pencils are looking nice. I really like that drawing of the priests head, the ranges in it are very nice! I would suggest you try to do that with all your drawings, the very dark and light areas really make drawings pop and look nice. Other than just keep up the great work! Ill be back to see more!

    Hey man, how you been?
    I think you made some good work with the brute but I think the muscles and overall form would really benefit from harder brushstrokes. Give it a try some time? These daily sketches are looking good, I've done similar things recently.
    I've also had that art-is-a-job mentality lately (Must be the weather or something hehe ) and it's been dragging me down. I try to study for selfbetterment and produce cool shit that comes into my mind just because I want to, not because I have to. Batcustard summed it up really nicely.

    Keep the flag high mate!

    Kungfoowiz;
    you made my evening too, cause if I make someone
    laugh, that is more than enough for me too.
    That proves that my sense of humor is on the correct
    level of the measure scale. I hope, cause when my
    senses go overboard, then most probably I will be
    more than abnoramally insane.
    Thank's for the support and for the encouragement.

    Seraph Fawkes;
    I have started working just a little more seriously
    and started cutting off some of my funtime and putting
    it in drawing and digital painting. I am not overdoing
    it, I just doing a bit more than I did earlier. Your
    avatar painting is still a hard-core one, you better
    keep it, of course until you do some even better master
    piece than this one is.

    Justyna;
    Hey, what's up? Have a seat.
    You fancy a tea? Glad that you like
    the soldiers, the three soldier guy are
    totally imaginative, and I draw them while
    laying in a hospital, with zero references.
    I like them and they give me a hard reminder
    for the time of their creation date.
    Thank you for being here.

    Naidy;
    Excellent thing that I see you here, it
    just cheers me up, and it makes my motivation
    stronger. Well, maybe those soldier will go
    through some digital phase in the future, but
    currently I am really not sure about anything.
    Thank you for your support, please give some
    more feedbacks in the future.

    Lang Oulk;
    Welcome. I am super happy to see that you
    enjoyed looking throuhg my art. I am preparing
    more of those head and face studies in the fashion
    as that priest is done. Hope you will stay a few more
    rounds around to see those.
    Thank you for your kind words here.

    equilerex;
    yeaaa, that guy on the start of the page
    got lucky for sure, he will enjoy some tight
    passionate moments with his little new space
    girlfriend.
    That is what I want to hear, when someone says
    that my drawings are fun to watch and not mundane
    or boring. I am mega motivated. Thank you.

    batcustard;
    great words mate,
    thank you for the feedback.
    The guy is lookin wonky indeed, especially his legs
    but afterall it was a total non-referenced drawing
    so I will just have to satisfy like it is.

    Rotor;
    Great to see you at my door. You wan't a beer, or
    you want something stronger?
    Mi casa es su casa.
    Let the good ol' times
    roll and we should not think about work or any obligations.
    At least for a short time, cause it is soo good to drift away.
    If I will ever work again on that brute guy, I will certainly
    change and fix some issues and add some details, but if I do
    not touch that again, then let him rest in pieces.
    Thank you for your words, I am always happy to see you here.

    Thorne;
    Do not worry, you ain't doing any douchebag moves, you are
    doing the right things, you are motivating and supporting me
    with your feedbacks here, and that is more than good for me.
    Thank you, and stick around if you want to.

    Like people saying here keep up with those anatomy studies, their looking cool so far, try to concentrate more on the sizes and the shapes of the body parts, so you caould make your figures more realistic.

    Hey man

    Working hard I see.. although you could still work more on your forms, try to draaw through the shapes to explain their forms, you don't always have to do this but it helps to do this for a while..

    Hey LtPlissken. I've just read you first post, with your bio, and I just wanted to ask which part of it is true. I mean, it's cool that you have 7 zombie hearts, but the stuff about Serbia and army sounds little bit farfetched... But, jokes aside - AC\DC does rule!

    Oh, and go for the anatomy studies more. Keep going mate!

    Hey man of course ill keep around! The studies look great, but let me ask you, how long do you take when doing studies? they look good, but i am just curious, just make sure that you are always thinking when doing studies, if you have trouble retaining what you learn, try doing the same thing again, and again until it sticks. i only say this because i have to do studies two times over to really get it, but it pays off in the long run! will be back to see more keep it up!

    Hello every1.
    What is happening around lately?

    Thorne;
    thank you,
    I will continue, cause
    that Loomis book is more than
    useful to me currently.
    Do not try to invade your house;
    that is more than great.

    Fallenangel;
    what a great thing to see you
    around here.
    I am working on improving my
    anatomy knowledge and making my
    characters to look more realistic.
    Thank you for the support.

    Justyna;
    I printed some skulls and
    skeleton back, front, side views
    this week and I put up aroung me
    on the walls, so I could watch them
    every day. I hope that will help me in
    memorizing some of the bones, parts and
    proportions. Thank you for your support.

    Kungfoowiz;
    I have to disappoint you, again,
    cause I still did not managed to get the
    hang of the depth and the 3D feeling of the
    forms. I understood exactly what you was trying
    to say with your last 2D/3D sketches and I can
    see that you are also trying to explain it through
    these 3D diagrams, but, I am still not able to
    master the damn thing. I also saw excellent examples
    and great perspective and realistic drawings in other
    sketchbooks, but I just do not have the required tool set
    to perform as I should. Frustration is a part of
    our evolution in art, I suppose.
    Thank you for such an active support from your side.
    I appreciate it.

    Dana;
    I already thought that you will never visit me
    again, so I got so sad, but now you have changed
    this rainy day to a sunny party occasion. Nice to
    see you, thank you for your support. Stick around
    if you wish.

    Star Eater;
    well, Star Eater, how many stars, did you eat till now?
    No problem, I will keep visiting your sketchook again
    and again, and again, of coruse if you do not have anything
    against it. I had a lot of flights in my life, and a lot of
    great times, so that is the way I intend to keep things.
    Thank you for your support.

    Seraph Fawkes;
    I have 7 feral zombie and the number is still increasing
    cause I am planning going out hunting this night. I will report
    in with the details tomorrow. "Welcome to the Jungle" is always
    a good motivational song while I am preparing my gear and loading
    my guns. Actually I was a regular soldier in the year 2001/2002,
    then I realized that something was crooked in the system, and I
    went mercenarie. Lately I do not do any government business, I am
    just hunting on my own, doing some heroic deeds in between, and I
    just love, I just loooooove to make a nice zombie headshot in bright
    full mooned nights.
    Thank you very much for supporting me and for keeping me motivated.

    Lang Oulk;
    I do pencil drawings pretty quick, except when I am doing someone's
    portrait and rendering it realistically.
    For example these pencil drawings, sketches are all done in 10, 20
    or at most 30 minutes. I took a paper out from a printer tray, that
    is A4 european size and I fill it with scribbles and drawings in around
    30 minutes. You can see a pencil drawing witch in post #33, that took
    me about 5 or 8 hours. That is a larger format. I know that it does not
    look anything special but it took me a while to draw it.
    Then you can see the old men drawing in post #63, that also took me
    about 8 hours of active work.
    Talking about digital paintings, I am real slow at doing them. I am
    able to do one painting for weeks or even months. Somehow I get bored
    at the middle of doing them, and then I loose motivation to finish. Also
    it is pretty much hard for me to start a new project. After I start doing
    it, I warm up and then it is hard for me to stop, cause hours fly by quick.
    Then I have to stop, as I could continue the next day, but then it is also
    hard for me to jump into it. I have to make a harder strain to make myself
    start doing something again.
    I hate to do same project twice, for example if I take a reference and I
    manage to fuck it up, I will certainly not try it the second time, I kinda
    feel that the thing lost its soul in the process. I know that this is a
    big mistake, but it is just stronger than me.
    When it's up to anatomy studies, more than one time doing the same rib cage
    or skull or whatever is a must of course, and I am aware of that.
    Thank you for supporting me and for following out my trials and errors.

    Happy to see so much replies and visits to my sketcbook, I am starting to
    feel overrated or popular. But I am glad, all this feels good, and I have an
    impression that I have a strong support and a powerful background.

    I love team work, the people that I am exchanging experience and thoughts with,
    through our posts, you know the "they post in my sketchbook, I post in their sketchbooks"
    thing, I feel that we are in the same team, and we are working in sinergy.
    Together we worth more and together we can achieve more.
    Around a year ago, I had a similar team here, I managed to make some contacts and
    to meet some good people, and after a while, this summer, all of them disappeared,
    just like that, respect for the exception, and then I was disappointed, shatterred and unmotivated.
    I read and heard about rumors, why all these people left this place, but honestly
    I do not care about the reasons, all that I knew was, that I was left without any support,
    and without any feedbacks.
    However I did not stopped posting, I continued working hard, drawing, painting and
    learning, and I managed to met new people, to create a circle of supporters again.
    Satisfied with all this, I have a nice feeling now, that the old environment, that I
    felt a year ago is raising slowly and that it is back again.
    Do I need to ask for more? I think not.
    Mega motivated and ready for some new battles, I am standing here stronger than ever.

    Know this; Whatever happens, even if one does not gets any support or attention, he must not stop
    trying ,working and evolving. Even if you feel that you are alone, and that your art is abandoned,
    and no one cares, trust me, you are wrong. That is why you should push the pace and motivate
    yourself, cause often there will be times, when no one will be there to catch you when you fall.

    I saw in some of the sketchbooks here on conceptart, that the owner of the thread is crying like
    a baby cause he does not get any replies and because someone voted his "sketchbook grade" from
    5.0 to 4.0. Hahaha, those are the most funniest things that I saw since I am registered here.
    I mean..... what Da fuck? Are you kidding me? Are you a 12 year old child, influenced by those
    candy star marks? Those same hard core artists who were so much related to their sketchbook threads
    are, believe or not, abandoning this forum from one day to another. They just outgrew it or whatever.
    Maaaaaaan, give me a break.
    Anyway, my advice to an artist here is that he should not let the external factors influence too much
    on him, like the wind and the storm outside the house. Rather he should focus on his main goal and on
    the mission in front of him.

    Really inspirational speech that was, sometimes we all find moments where we feel like there's no one there to egg us on, but it's good that you kept going through it!

    Anyways, keep up the good work mate.

    We want more drawings man!
    But yeah, it's important never to give up, it's like someone has set up traps for us, to see if we're really worth it. In the beginning you fall into all the traps and it's hard, but the most important thing is not the trap itself, it's getting up again and continuing your journey never to give up, to hopefully one day be super-aweeeeeesomeeeeeeeeeeeee!

    Awesome to see your progress man! I loved the big boobed lady man. Nice to see how much you worked on her and how nice the end shading came out with all the veins and everything looking like it should. Now put some more work into you sketches and let me see some more studies!

    I like the sketchbook pages.
    Keep working on the proportion stuff, do heaps of figuredrawing, long and short poses and pay close attention on what you're drawing.
