    google's wave

has anyone seen this wave demo by google.

I wonder if a site like conceptart.org can benefit from something like this. Mind you the video is long but interesting.

I really want to see a developer create a plugin that lets you draw. Even a fairly basic painting program would be fantastic. Great for group projects, showing revisions to clients, drawing parties, whatever. If only.

yes i think it can become a good thing once people know how to use it. the fact that it has translations, it can benefit people who speak different languages

Something like Sketcher would be cool, just with harder brushes. I wouldn't be surprised if this could be implemented not only to create a painting program, but a fairly complex one at that.

Wow. This is incredible. Essentially this is combining email, instant messaging, Tweeter, forums, blogs, rss - almost every mode of communication one can participate in on the web.

    Well done Google!
The Boulder takes issue with that comment.

Saw it last weekend. I think it's quite an exciting development, especially something like the Rosey(Rosetta Stone) robot, for communicating with clients on projects for example, so I've already signed up to be notified when it's released.
It is a long video but it really is worth watching all of it. There's a huge amount of potential in Wave, not least because it becomes a one stop communications hub.
