    I like the light, pastel colours but the fish looks really strange and basic. It's just a sausage with a tail on really...Maybe you should look at pictures of fish and pick out a particular species that appeals to you. That'd improve the piece drastically.

    It does look a bit like a sausage with a tail. *cracks up*

    Anyways, there's nice mood here. But if that's your goal, well, you still have to get your rear in gear and pick a type of fish, look at underwater pictures to get a better reference of that, find seaweed with good lighting, etc. Impressionism art, like this for example: http://people.smu.edu/jandrewart/Ins...sm_Morisot.jpg May be the style you're aiming for: loose, but you're still able to pinpoint the position the people are in, etc. I think this picture may lack defining marks; minimal marks, but they tell a lot.

    But I like how you've incorporated the pink into the background as well, which does make it feel very dreamy, very nice. I'd just still practice on your rendering a bit.
