this one I did quite some time ago. 3 years maybe. Lacked the anatomy knowledge at the time, so I used a reference photo.

a more latter piece. probably a year ago.
this one was quite fascinating actually. A friend of mine and I had this discission 'bout future machines. We actually went on brainstorming that future machines might actually be muscule driven steel skeletons. For pure efficiency's sake.
It gave me the idea to draw some of those future machines (I actually did just this one but I have some other ideas too) - here's a freighter hawling chassy

Just some sketches I did for a story. Might do them some time as real illustration... not shure though - mostly tested extreme perspectives.

I've been really into old italian masters lately. They seem to have these beautiful architectural detais all over the paintings... love 'em

as for the piece itself - I was quite depressed this one day... Had the feeling of just literally pulling the weight in vain - so I just sketched it. It came out as a nice sketch, and lately I did it as a full illustration.

I really like your use of perspective on later pieces, it's very dynamic. And you can paint digital really good.

It's a T-shirt design for a friend of mine. It should have been just a line sketch originally, but it gradually grew into this. I'm not quite good at comix style coloring, so I used the opportunity to do some exploring. Not quite happy with the result but I'm calling it finished - I could continue refining it forever, but I'm really fed up with this design already. Time for something new.
besides - the guy loves it, and in the end - it's all about fun... right?! ughhhh

sooooo... It's become quite a series of manga drawings now. I'm kindda surprised manga proved to be so easy to draw, once one got hold of the basic rules, and it's a quick fun too.
Posting just some of the pics here.

The idea for this one is to become a sort of a comix for a T-shirt. Here are some of the elements, and a preliminary general composition

and yet another speed. The spaceship is based on a study for freehand drawing of complex shapes. Got inspired by Daniel Simon...

woa'... it's been a while since my last post...

it's just that I recently found this wonderful medium, called PAPER and I also discovered these... absolutely... BRILLIANT tools, called Copic markers. Honestly - I haven't had this much fun drawing since... I don't know when
It's just pure fun to sit in the park and quickly throw in sketch after sketch, blocking in shapes on the fly... love it

so as you might guess - my wacom's gathered quite a bit of dust recently

anyway - here's a piece I did for the cover of a great new e-zeen featuring "marginal fictional" authors. It's a project I hope to see having future development since the guy doing it manages to find exceptional young authors, that have... well... ideas, that are ... interesting.

In my previous post i'm showing one of my preliminary sketches for this project. Colour-wise it's actually my favourite. But anyway it did't make it to the finals.
It is based on a story from the e-zeen that takes place in St Louis. Hence the arch

The piece shown here lacks definition and detail in the forward plan, it's compositionally flawed, but I did it from the beginning having in mind that it was going to be cropped and surrounded by texts, headers, commercials'n'stuf - a regular tabloid-style cover.

another new venture... learning to do Japanese style tattoo dragons. Not an easy thing - quite a bit of rules.
    here's a sample
