Good detail, i like it. keep posting,
do u use references or do your images come from mind?
@ clockworksnail - Thanks! All of my work comes from my head, although I do look through animal books constantly so Im sure a lot of it sticks. When I start to draw a creature its seldom that I use reference for poses, but I do look at reference for certain characteristics like texture and pattern. Im also interested in behavior influencing the evolution of a species so I read about animals a lot haha...do I make sense?... ..sorry Im rambling
Wow some very cool chimeras in here. Wanna see more *_*
My english suxx, please forgive me...
You do make sence.
il drop by every so often and see how you're doing, keep posting, its good
The art reminds me of the creatures from Dougal Dixon's After Man: A Zoology of the Future, which was based on imaginative extrapolations of future evolution from presently existing animal species.
Dahami - I am somewhat familiar with that book. I've seen it only twice although I'd really like to own it! I do base a lot of my design on animals that do exist and behavoirs that people are familiar with. I believe it keeps the creatures relatable.
Killer weight on these creatures! They all have such solidarity and life. Well done.
Brilliant illustrated profiles on those creatures really well executed , keep up the good work.
i still cant get over that fish-bowl-mech-suit thing.
its well good.
It's all very good picture!! , i really like line drawings and design in your picture.
seriusly, i love your sketchbook. its so different to everyone elses.
your style is unique and its really inspiring, if u ever publish a book on your weird animals, pm me straight away and il go buy it, lol.
keep it up!!!

Awesome. Not only creative imagination but also very life-like detail. And obviously you have a lot of knowledge about animals. Keep at it!
You're work is amazing, i am very jealous right now, and on the other hand i am very inspired!

Sick creature concepts. Your level of detail is remarkable.
Hey, so, i looked through your blog.
it's cool. sort of relaxing just looking through,
i lso read that you are actually trying to publish a book, which is seriusly cool.(i didnt realise in my previous comment, but i meant what i said about buying it)
one thing tho, apart from the 'Gigatus', have you created any large carnivore species? i think you should. maybe that 'bala' thing u refer to in one of the paragraphs?
anyways, im probly actinlg like some kinda annoying stalker or something, so i will shh now,
Really awesome creature concepts! You get them to fit all so nicely they look like they could have existed. I know a lotta people who try to make creatures up but they wind up making them look really lopsided and not feasible, these are very realistic. Nice!
Thanks everyone for your comments! I'll be posting more on here soon!
Hey there, I remember you from QHHS...dunno if you remember me, we met kinda briefly, but it was in Mrs. Tremonti's room and you were working on a dragon piece. I've seen some of your work in Dixon's class too. What're you up to these days?
In love with the whole project, best of luck with publication. (let us know when!)
is this from reference or from mind?
