Post Red Panda Games in Seattle is Seeking Art Interns (for games, non-paid)

Red Panda Games is an independent developer. Our first title Bipo: Mystery of the Red Panda can be found at major casual portals including Big Fish Games, Reflexive, iWin, and Oberon Games. Please visit our website at to apply and click on "About Us". Please note: Our current game Aveline: Epilogue of a Pied Piper will not follow the art style of our previous games.

We are currently looking for a dark artist to help with some of our concept art for our upcoming game soon to be announced. There will be some light animation involved, and also a few bacgrounds. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into the game industry.
You may telecommute or work from home for this internship.

The knowledge and experience that you can acquire here is invaluable in the industry. Not only will you learn how to develop an industry standard level of art, you will learn the basic mechanisms of what visual assets are needed to make a game functional. Our internships offer rich experiences as opposed to others that utilize interns for busy work and research. The work that you will do will actually be used for in-game play. You can take as much or as little work as you need to, which makes this opportunity ideal for students. You will also be able to work from home, so you should have your own computer and graphics editing software such as Photoshop, or Paint Shop Pro. To apply, please send e-mail a link referencing your online portfolio.

    - Create 2D art assets such as backgrounds, animations, sprites, panoramas, etc.

    - Finish and retouch art assets as needed.

    - Contribute to overall design, story, and script.

    - Applicant must have knowledge of at least one graphics or photo editing software and should be ready to provide samples by e-mail or an online portfolio. A moderate skill level is required.

    - Ideal applicant will be interested in art for games, or is currently enrolled in an AA/BA art program.

Satisfactory completion of projects will provide you with experience in the industry as well as provide a professional reference for you, should you choose to pursue a career in the industry. Internships may lead to permanent or contract positions with the company.

Please note: This is not an application nor a position for employment. This is an opportunity to contribute to a project. This internship may qualify for class credit.
