hueyyeng: Thanks. I really am trying to work on my digital stuff. I'll be doing more traditional stuff when school starts in September.

inmygucci: Thank you. I own Corel Painter 11 and it is an awesome program. I'm just more comfortable using Photoshop. for now at least.

blexano: Thanks. The robots were done a few years ago while suffering from a broken heart But I like them too. and uhh. yea. I'm changing my title. haha.

BOMACHADO: Thanks and Yea. Consider the title changed. Well, I know it sounds cliche, but I've been drawing my whole life. Since I was a little chap. I only started taking it seriously a couple years ago. After I dicovered the wonderful world of illustration. I just love that there is still so much to be learned.

Well here is a polished Frankenstein portrait along with what I consider a finished piece. I added color and a brushstroke effect.

And also a 1 hour shark painting. done from reference

Thanks for dropping by and commenting on my sketchbook once more! Looking good in here mate! The frankenstein is great, really well done. I prefer the black and white one just because you have rendered it really nicely.

Thank you very much for the advice, I do need to take things a little slower. I really dig the colors and texture of the Frankenstein piece. I can't really give you advice, just praise.

Some cool stuff, my favourites are the charcoal Mr Dean and skull, Frankies good too especially around the eyes though not so keen on the colour version...

I really like your studies... YOu have a good understanding of facial structure. Also, see your skills improve. Anatomy needs some catching up. Loosen up a bit to get a nice flow in structure.

Cool sketches. The insect guy and the faces in post 21 look great. I like your studies - the smooth shading looks nice. Those charcoal pieces are without a doubt your best work in here.

    Beautiful artwork!!!
The Frankenstein looks awesome! I really like your rendering style. Very confident.
I think your work could look incredible with some Corel Painter brushes.

Hey, thanks for dropping by my sb.

I liked that original frankenstein portrait better, somehow it feels more authentic than the color+filter version.

I like your pencil work, makes me want to go do some crosshatching myself!

The shark looks cool I would sugest a bigger brush for its body. Get a more painted feel. Now it looks a lot like a photostudy.

This skull is amazing, and the James Dean is jaw dropping.

I came by because of the Frankenstein and am glad I did. You definitely possess some advanced skills. Post more!

    Awesome sketchbook!
You can pull off some really beautifully rendered pieces. I especially like the graphite portrait you have on page one. If I may offer a critique, however, there is a wide discrepancy between the technical prowess of your observational pieces and imaginative ones. Try doing pieces from your imagination using light reference (supplementing things you may be unsure of, but not straight up 'copying' the reference). That might help to bridge the gap pretty quickly.
Hope that is helpful and makes sense! Hope to see updates soon!
