People in Sweden! Atelier Stockholm Open House 5.30!

This is maybe a bit late, but my school, Aterlier Stockholm is having an open house day this saturday, May 30th, 10-13.

If you're in the Stockholm area and interested in the school, or just want to see some cool drawings and paintings, please feel welcome to come and take a look! The address is Åldermansvägen 10 B, in Solna.

You can see the stuff I've been working with here for the last year in my thread. Welcome!

I am starting at the school this Fall, and I have visited it many times for open lifedrawing sessions and for a summer course.

It is a lovely school, and even if you dont plan to attend the actual course, if you are in stockholm at this time then definitely check it out! the locales are beautiful and their library is stunning! a great collection of casts and artwork as well to look at. the teachers and students are all very friendly and easy to talk to!

Timpaatkins, if you're really interested in visiting, you can always mail the school and say you'll be dropping in - I'm sure you'll be welcome even if it's not on the open house day...

And I agree with Archipelago, their library is extremely cool!

Just out of curiousity, what is the common way of paying the tuition and fees?

I've wanted to attend for several years now...

some people work part-time or on weekends, I worked for a year, some gets it all payed by someone else... The tuition is paid two times a year. Unfortunately there's no government funding for this school...

Cool stuff in your thread Serpian, gives me more of an idea what will be waiting for me.
I will be attending a summer figure drawing course this summer. And in a year or so I will study there for a year, as a sort of supplement to my current education, which is unfortunately more 3d oriented. Damn I'm really looking forward to getting some serious drawing done, cause as it is, I spend much more time doing 3d than drawing, and it's killing me.
Also really looking forward to meeting some CA ppl there!
