Thanks for checking out my sketchbook.
Right now my personnel project is a comic book done completly in CS3. Its kinda a celtic/barbarian type book. The following is the work I have done so far. I still intend to do some work with them, I want to change the runes on the tree in the first page, and I want the two characters to have some cool celtic tatoos, but I havnt gotten those to look right yet. I still have a lot to learn.
Anyways thanks for stopping by, and any crits are appreciated.

This is a sketch of Khald, a main character in my graphic novel project.
Nice hands, I like the idea of a graphic novel i have always tried to make one but i could never stay focused on it long enough to go through with it. Nice work keep it up. It would be sweet see some one else finish the massive work load of a graphic novel.
Really cool stuff, I espc like the first one, the nature in it is amasing! I can recommend Simon Bisleys Slaine if ure interested in celtic comics and I thought I could sense some sort of resemblance to youre work even tho Slaine seems to be a little bit more bloody.
collin6099- Thanks for stopping by and being the first to post on my book. Ive got the same problem you described with big projects like this. At the rate Im going, and the limited time Im able to work on it Ill be pretty old by the time I finish it.
Ragnj- Thanks for the kind words. I drew the first page without knowing the story at all. It kinda came together as I drew that page.
A few more sketches. The first one is another character in my book. The second page is some sketches from ref.
Here is a wip of page five...a big battle is about to start.
Update to page 5. Sorry for the long delay, work has been very busy.
I plan on making his hair more grey, he needs to be older.
Nice job so far! I really like the trees and foliage in the first page, and nice job on the characters. Would be cool to see the whole thing complete, I'm interested in the story.
Thanks for stopping by my book guys. Id love to know how the story goes too heh. Right now all Ive really got is some characters and some scenes.
Anyways here are a couple of things that Ive been working on, I think I pretty much hate them now and dont want to work on them anymore.

Here is something I started working on last night. Hope you like.
Here is another quick painting I did last night.
Due to a power surge, I lost all of my saved artwork and had to buy a new tablet. But I have decided this sketchbook needs to be raised from the dead and started again. So below are some drawings Ive done since I stopped posting.
I promise to be much better at posting...

i really love your work, your style shows huge potential, very marvel-esque! i hope to see more like this! also your poses are brilliant, any tips or hints?
sleepykit- Wow thanks for the kind words. I don't really feel qualified to give tips since I still feel I am learning what I am doing. I would just say keep drawing constantly.
here are a few more sketches...
And a few more...
And some more...
great lines! love the ink work. Watch the proportions on some of these figures. really great stuff though.
Goog- Thanks for stopping by and commenting. And thanks for the advice.
Here is something I did last night before bed.
Here are a couple of looks at one of my graphic novel characters.
As said with some others, great style. I really love your inked pieces and the detail you put into them
Elz- Thanks for stopping by
Here is an update
I am not really happy with this guy so far. But here he is..
hi, thanks for the advice you gave on my page,i really like the style you leaning towards and im looking forward to seeing more of yours,i was also wondering how do you put your sketch book link on you comment, and how do you change the profile picture for your sketch book?im knew to forums in genral and id be really grateful if you can help
Cool work man! Last character looks good, but he has too small arms. Correct it and the piece will look a lot better. Also, be careful with the vignette organization and the distance between them in your comic. Some of the drawings, next to each other, make up some strange visuals. Finally, try to experiment with light. Right now, the highlights of some are are just the same colour in a higher value. Try to variate tones (ex: if the background is green, give some green to the highlighted areas of a body.
This was too long of a pause in posting. I just got back from traveling abroad and so have not been on the computer much.
Caiphas-thanks for stopping by. If you havn't figured it out yet. You just highlight the text that you want linked, and then click "insert link" above. It will then open a box where you can copy paste the link you want.
Abrodos- That is some really helpful advice. After you wrote that I went back and looked at those pages and had to really think about that. Its so funny, when I was a kid I thought drawing comics was just drawing cool stuff on each page. But now its a bit more involved.
Well like I said I havn't been too busy artistically lately, but below is a pen drawing I tried to color in photoshop. My scan of the picture wasnt the greatest so I dont think the lines came out very clean.
