    do you guys know this model?

    On the right ->

    If you watch blade and you see the gathering of all the elder vampires in the room I swear this guy came out as one of them. He had the tattoo on his head and everything.. I have a painting that I did of him right next to me! Or it could be another guy that looks like another guy..

    I've never had the chance to draw him, but that's Erl Van Douglas.

    Charles Hu has a few drawings of him in his school thread as well...

    Yep I drew him at a Gallery Girls event, which is an LA group that travels to SF every couple of months. Someone there told me he was in that movie but I didn't bother to look it up. Cool

    It's by Steve Hampton. I randomly came across his book last night which prompted me to remember the time I was watching blade lol. His site says the book is for release on late summer, you have to email him to preorder a copy. I never heard of him till now but his figure break downs resembles that of steve huston not surprising seeing how his bio says he graduated from Art Center. I'm sure there are tons of artists that graduated during the time of kevin chen that draw similar, they just don't teach.

    http://figuredrawing.info/book.html that's the books website.
