    @AztcFireFlower, thank you... actually that demo was done in aftereffects..where i just animated layers step by step.. i mean that is not a video of actual creation of the mattepainting..just showing steps.

    the goal here is using basic abstract composition, to create different subjects and stories..

    Just a quick question, but it seems to me, you use a flat brush, (rather than the round one's) but how do you get it to change angles? I know how to get it to follow the direction of your brush, but whenever i change angles it get's choppy and you can see the individual marks

    hey - i know its not the technique itself that makes that pieces look so beautiful -its your extremely skills, but is there any kind of tutorial for this "lasso-style-painting" ?
    it looks very interesting but i dont have any idea how to use the lasso for stuff like that...

    It looks like your stuff is from photoshop, it is right? Would illustrator be better for painting a more complete picture or photoshop all the way?
