    My new 'Hobby'

I make movies - but life has been quiet for a while.

I wallowed in self pity for a while, then tried to figure out how I could both get more involved in the community, and promote my work at the same time.

So I started making little 'documentaries' about fund raising events in the area, and the non profits that host them .

Keeps me in practice, and free publicity for some very worthy causes.

(And I have my first photography show next month...)

I guess the point is - there's always a way to network and show off your skills, just be a little creative about it.

Someone with more technical prowess than I is welcome to embed if they want to .

I've suddenly started learning about the joy/pain that is codecs - and trying not to break my desk when my head meets it.

(This footage wasn't fuzzy in .avi, but the file was too big to upload, and in .264 it grew fur. After a while, I gave up!)
