"Post-man" and "Happy Max"
As I'm hopefully finishing my three-year animation study I thought I'd show you what I've made, or been part of making.
Just recently finished, this short animation tells the story of a lonely Gulak and his toaster problem.
It was done using classic doll animation on a green-screen and using pre-rendered 3D scenes as the backround.
Combining two great movies into a tight action packed adventure, this short animation tells the story of a gang of penguins stranded in a strange land.
This animation was done last year using traditional drawn animation techniques and compiled and coloured with the help of a computer.
(Note: If you are easily bored by long beginnings, the actual animations starts at 2:10.)
I hope you like them, critique is also always welcome and encouraged. Any questions you have I'll be more than happy to answer.

well, 2 minutes into happy max and i wanted to shoot myself. why don't you delete the really boring 2 minute intro, my entire demo reel isnt that long, people's attention spans arent that long. the drawings are poor and lazily made and it doesn't add to the experience. as for the animation i think you have potential. your pacing is off so i would work on that, and in general, this project is so ambitious that i feel you're spending so much time working on telling this huge story that you haven't spent any time on impressing us with really nice, ambitious animation. i don't know what your goal is, but if you'd like to get a job after school, focus on telling a story about a minute long with really beautiful animation.
-start a revolution.

I thank you for your comment and appreciate your criticism and advice.
I have to say though, I never thought the animation (Happy Max) needed any intro being so short but the person who wanted it there can be very stubborn at times.

I thought there should be more action and if there is more action packed closer together then people wouldn't lose their concentration or attention span. I agree with DanielBodinof about cutting off the intro or at least shortening it. But you have potential. Also work on your drawing skills,
I suppose that has all been said but i must reiterate sometimes.
