    No mountains, please.

MJ ... "mountain" was a loose reference to size not an actual land mass haha

rigthy then time for an initial crit spamm thing, while the ideas are fresh, im a noob so i may be WAaaaaaY off on these

    sketchius-
my only thoughts is thaat with only two leggs on the ground your creature would be very unbalanced, but love the idea of an ice giant

    Razorleaf-
looks a little cuddely at the moment, make him mean and feice "GRRRR", and something to show the scale would be nice, great work

    Reymus-
im going to see that thing in my nightmares!!!

    acb-
That thing is HUGE! would be cool to see where the tenticals join the body

    toasted-
what can i say? that thing is BAD ASS

    Crowsrock-
scary stuff! love the trees on its back - id really push that idea. like a forest camoflage

    Ah Chu-
Damn that is cool great sence of scale, and action

    memper-
awesome facial render, very creepy, looks a little like one of the ice creatures from the new star treck film

    Wixxi-
lol love the face, my only thought is that the creature looks off balance, maybe some bigger arms to help it support its weight

    evil comrad-
looks pretty cool, not really getting the jugganought of death "feeling" seeems a little to cute

    me-
ok so heres an update beleive it or not ive been using photoshop for painting for 3 years and ive only just found how to use a texture overlay, so any comments on how my texture looks would be much appreciated

Ya, skunk257 .... I was watching the damn Animal Planet with my kids and before I knew it I ended up with this puppy/kitten effect for fur hahahaha. Not what I was going for but thought I'd post it anyway. Still, I'm not really into all the blood, guts and killing senerios hahaha but I do what I can

Yours, however, most definately falls under the juggernaut category .... nicely done!

I'm hoping I can get this finished in time. I'm going for a massive shark/whale/ocean creature. I plan on having some teensy winsy blue whales running away or something.

Had not much time (last five minutes ) and i hope i will be able to get this ready before deadline.
I took my basis and tried to think a little bit about anatomy (i must confess, that i am not very good in anatomy.. i try to learn it ... think one need those basics).

Update: Sketch of creatures is ready...

Update 2: Very first stage of rendering...

i was thinking at first wow those ppl looks nice there and then i looked at what you said about the party and yure right LOOOOL its looking kinda wild there 0^_^0 lots of pyrotechniques and congrats on finding the texture overlay and those textures looks cool ^_^

skullbeast- i think that the eyes there will look cool although it doesnt look practical to put those ther unless yull change abit the mouth or the area near the eys cuz think of when it uses its mouth then hes eyes can get hurt easily ^_^

MEMPER- cool head @_@ looking forward for updates

Memper, I like the movement and the claws.
Skunk257, that thing looks huge, love the explosions but I can't see a killing monster in it.
Wixxi, although eating an polar bear he looks quite cuddly.

Tried to make mine less looking like a polar bear and a little meaner and bigger too.

Tommoy I think you should make those lightblue lines so that they follow the shape of the body. Right now they don't help establish the shape.

    My attempt, open to suggestions!

    Update

Thank you for the comment, skunk257. As you can see I gave up on the trees growing on the back of the juggernaut, because I imagine that beast as a relatively fast one, having a huge energy demand. So forest-growing will be difficult when it has to chase mammoths all day long.
    Cool action in your piece.

Tommoy: I more liked the version without stripes.

Sounded a relaxing topic, so I'm taking a part At this moment, I've painted only a background:

Now I see the vertical composition is bad. I'm going to cut bottom part, or add a empty bar at the bottom. Probably the second option. And the monster is a bit cropped, so I will enlarge canvas at right and paint more of creature body. And I would like to make feeling the monster is cramped inside canvas to emphasize its' big size.

Hey all, there is some good stuff going on in here, love it!
Very quick from me, I'm not sure I'll get to finish, but just practicing with a new technique.
This is an awful/boring design but it's fun to paint

    Cheers.
    Scott.
