    monitor recording program problems.

hi everyone. i like to record my own art processes when i do digital art on the computer. lately i have run into a problem that seems to occur with every monitor recording rpogram that i can get my hands on. somehow the first parts of my recording always get's busted up...i posted here an image of what i then see. when i for example recorded like 30 minutes, the video looks horrible for the first 7 minutes or so and then seems to have been recorded nicely after that....but no matter what, the first part of my process is lost and ruined.

can anybody help me on this? i don't want this to happen again. what am i doing wrong? i am currently using the program "freez screen video capture" btw.

Have you tried CamStudio? I haven't used it to capture artwork being produced, but it has worked well for my purposes.

I don't know what could be the problem, i'm not an expert. You could however get around it by letting the recording run for 10 minutes before doing anything, then editing away the scrambled parts.

I'm using camtasia, and i have had no problems whatsoever with that. Comes highly recommended!
