Very Nice stuff, dude. If any of these were modern day stuff, I could help out with accuracy and hook you up with reference pics of wpns/kit/uniforms/etc - only reason I bring it up is cause something about the German in the last pic looks funny with the uniform...just figured it out. No breast pockets.

Weapons and kit look Niiiice. Keep it up, dude.

Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. I agree with what pretty much other people have said that you should really start to push yourself into making some more finished work. I def see improvement in your drawing and it's great to see you started painting. Maybe doing some value studies would help you. Great job so far.

Kojot- Yea man i agree completely, i really dont have much experience with color and im trying to develop that part more than anything at the moment i think. thanks for stopping by dude

Itsmin- thanks man ya ive always had problems sticking with peices long enough to finish them and even if i do people comment on how they liked the old sketchier style of the unfinished version so its kind of a weird issue for me i think. none the less i am making the effort more than ever to try to finish things before i move on. thx for the comment : D

just a couple pastels i did today

Hey mate, i can clearly see your love for war pantings.

Here is a list of artists who brought that genre to life when the smell of gunpowder was still noticeable over the battlefield. I hope their interpretation of war is going to help you with your works.

No worries, glad you like it. I forgot to mention that the list of names i posted wasn't in any relation to the link above em.

Don't forget to check out the home section and Part 2 and 3 of the Soviet war pantings on the site, there are hundreds of articles, some collaboration posters and war sketchbooks.

    insane skills.
TPB takes some getting used to but I think its masterful. Ricky's dad Ray is a real person, and youve gotta love the boys.
Theres an amazing documentary about Clattenburg narrated by his wife that doesnt even interview the cast at all and still manages
to make the whole enterprise look like the coolest funniest art project ever... Ill try finding the link..

Awesome stuff man. Your sketches are great. I especially liked the one with the guy dying with pistol in his hand. I'd like to see more winter stuff though. Something freezing.

I love your pieces that show interesting and dramatic perspective, sort of like the last one you posted. It complements your skill quite a bit.

Nice stuff. Especially the German soldier is really cool. On the crit side, your latest painting is way too black. Try using blues and purples for shadows instead of pure black.

Hey Jesus Food thanks for commenting in my Sketchbook. I've really enjoyed looking through yours. You have an amazing visual library stored in your head and I like the way your pictures tell a story. Very cool.
