    I think I see some inspiration from Warhammer 40K, or am I imagining this?
    The 1st, 5th and 7th pieces of the first post remind me strongly of it, though this could easily be a coincidental similarity of appearance.

    Beautiful paintings ive been gazing at them for awhile now.
    Love your focal points, and edges. you make the viewers eye move around your peices so evenly. May i ask what image size did you use on your first peice in the thread?

    hey Mandryk!

    1st one - i really like his right arm, those abstract shapes, their rhythm, and the light hitting them

    2nd - wow, love

    3rd - nice colours!

    4th - LOL at the victim's eye! A crit though, the lion mask seems a bit out of place to me, i feel it should be tilted anti clock-wise a little. Also, the mane and the rest of the skin look disconnected, and the skin at the back looks flat. This distracted me quickly.


    The last one just rocks my socks off.
