How can I change the cursor size?

    Hi,

I'm using Painter X.5 and would like to change the cursor size.

When drawing it is fine, but before I put the pen to the tablet, the cursor is just a tiny dot and I'm finding it hard to see where I am going to put the stoke.

I know using a bigger brush would help, but I don't always want to!

    Nic

If you're using Windows, go to Edit-Preference - General and change your cursor through those options. You may need to uncheck brush ghosting if you're having it set to tiny brush sizes but the cursor is linked to the size of your brush if you're using it with ghosting enabled.

To see the cursor when using a very small brush size, go to Preferences > General and try using (from the drop down list) the Brush, Hollow Triangle, and Grey Triangle cursors with the Enable Brush Ghosting box unchecked.

That way, you'll be able to see the cursor no matter what the brush size is and no matter what color is below the cursor.

Please do not PM me with Painter questions. Instead, post them here where everyone can benefit from them. Thanks!
