    Your Name

    Just a little out-of-the-blue thing.
Where does your username come from?
Mine is an old in-joke from deviantart (Yeah...I know). I made an icon mash-up of the most tangled-up worm shape I could think of. Pretty lame, but it had a ring to it, I guess.

    Where does yours come from?

(On another note...I'm wondering where Massive Black came from as well)

No one could decide on the right name. One of the guys cracked a joke. He said it should be Massive Black with a rooster logo and the tagline “serving all your biggest needs” --a name few would forget. We mocked up some cards in jest. Within an hour we had a surprise unanimous decision. After months of discussion about potential “Digital this,” Pixel that,””Imaginary this” and “Dynamic that,” we had the name that would stick.

In the end, we reasoned that Massive Black is the primordial void from which great ideas are pulled.

Our name is Equality 7-2521, as it is written on the iron bracelet which all men wear on their left wrists with their names upon it. We are twenty-one years old. We are six feet tall, and this is a burden, for there are not many men who are six feet tall. Ever have the Teachers and the Leaders pointed to us and frowned and said: "There is evil in your bones, Equality 7-2521, for your body has grown beyond the bodies of your brothers." But we cannot change our bones nor our body.

I believe I have answered one of these before, but eh... by the almighty word, fuckit.

I aquired the nickname 'crazy dude' while in a pottery class as I was drawing swords and other medieval weaponry... (note this was post-Columbine era so yeah...) Add my initials at the end and you got it.

I think there's several threads about why you have your name in here somewhere...

I can answer again though, it's simply my middle name. Opens for gender confusion a lot of the time.

And if you ask the different people that's been in MB, you'll get several different more interesting ... umm... let's call them "colourful stories"... about how that name in particular was created.

So Massive Black is supposed to be taken as something a little dirty. Now I feel a little less fucked up for always lolling at the fact it could also be the name of some porn site.

My last name's Meissner. Jovian was probably taken (that being my first name). Or I just didn't try it. Hmm.

Yeah a thread like this or even a few where made a while ago.

but anyway, got my name from a Neal Asher book, 'Gridlinked', there is an android with the personality of a psychopath downloaded into it, very violent, very awesome, his name is Mr Crane.

I highly recommend Neal Asher to anyone who is a fan of Sci fi. and murderous androids..

Dark Elf character from the anime/manga known as Bastard!!

When I was more into anime there weren't that many good Black anime characters around. Hagiwara and his 24 assistants make some awfully damn good screentoned manga, the details are great.

    Plus, Hagiwara is hilarious NSFW:

...yeah I'm a female that looks at Japanese hentai... but I like Hagiwara's stuff so he's forgiven - that's why I keep the username of one of his characters

I like the name Endymion, but didn't want to rip it off completely but still have something sounding like it. So I switched the letters around and came out with Enydimon.

Type my name into any search engine.

    Go head, I'll wait.

    Did you do it?

It's the only one of its kind on the net. No other. If you find it somewhere, it's connected to me.

DRD is an acronym for DarkRuler Daniel

The first part comes from my used-to-be favorite Yu-Gi-Oh!!!1 card (probably like 5 years ago; yeah I've had this name for a long time)

    My real name is Daniel.

But this should be evident from my title, I guess.

A friend of mine started to call me Captain Wiggles back in the 7th grade and it caught on. I have no idea when in the world he came up with such a name, but I go by Wiggles or Wiggs for short.
