Red face My First digital painting- WIP -honesty welcome!

Here's my first attempt at painting.. just got my first wacom. I've been using photoshop for nearly half my life but I havn't really seriously drawn or painted in almost 10 years so here goes nothin!

This community is amazing! I really hope to get some constructive criticism.

About the image.. I work/live(90hrs a week) in the oilfield as an electronic technician, so I decided to create some mobile equipment that's harvesting energy from the earth.

    Lightroom test

Didn't have much time to finish it today but I did have a moment to run it through Lightroom just to give myself a hint of what the final image might look like.

Does anyone else here use Lightroom for color correction or enhancement?

It doesn't look like you planned out any perspective lines... I would definitely recommend becoming familiar with those before going far to painting environments. Or anything for that matter, but environments especially.

Thanks for the perspective tip theoryC.. it's been awhile since I've done any work.. now that I see it that way..it's pretty far off! So thanks, next time I won't jump right in.

Much appreciated Metahari!.. I thought some things could have been re-situated a little, but I enjoyed making the clouds so much I left them that way
