moving custom brushes from Painter X to Painter 11

I've created a number of custom brushes in Painter X.1 and soon getting Painter 11. How do I copy or move them so they're available in version 11?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Navigate to the Painter X User Brushes File and copy them. Paste them into the same place in the Painter 11 User File.

Route for Windows Vista - C: \Username\AppData\Roaming\Corel\PainterX\Default\B rushes\PainterBrushes (or in whatever brushes folder you have saved them).

I assume you mean the entire folder named "Painter Brushes" within the "Brushes" folder?

    Thanks

Paths to the Painter X application/program folder's Brushes folder:

    Mac - Applications > Corel Painter X > Brushes

    Windows - Program Files > Corel > Corel Painter X > Brushes

Paths to the Painter X User folder's [Workspace Name] > Brushes folder:

    Mac - Users > [User Name] > Library > Application Support > Corel > Painter X > [Workspace Name] > Brushes

Windows - Documents and Settings > [User Name] > Application Data > Corel > Painter X > [Workspace Name] > Brushes

    Windows Vista - Users > [User Name] > AppData > Roaming > Corel > Painter X > [Workspace Name] > Brushes

Please do not PM me with Painter questions. Instead, post them here where everyone can benefit from them. Thanks!

Having moved all my old brusher from version 8 into version 11, can anyone tell me if it is possible to change the order of the brushes in the drop-down list. All the brushes I copied over are at the bottom of the list and therefore in no logical (or alphabetical order).

There is a PDF file from John Derry on how to alphabetize your workspace: http://www.lynda.com/home/DisplayCourse.aspx?lpk2=421 (Although it links to the video, just look for "alphabetizing your brushes" and you'll find the link.
