    The tired king

    Good day to you!
Here is the first art for my portfolio. It took me about 7-8 hours to draw it. I'm open for useful critique and good advice. Be gentle

If you're working off a photograph please check his

-knees and ankles - Take note of their form and rotation.
    -define the shin bones??
-thigh rotation - hip connection location
-left shoulder shadow on chest maybe??
-right elbow crease? it looks like a thin cloth

Also, double check the length of your shadows.

Should he be leaning/sitting more forward?
His elbows come out as far as his knees. [Or do I have short elbows?]

Should the bed be more compressed?

[That's all I have for now]

    Kick ass rendering. Godd stuff.

Nice surface work on the cabinet doors. I'd try harder to maintain line discipline on the straight edges as well as picking up the anatomical planes.
    I like this.

Thank you. Too lazy for straight edges, unfortunately.

    Nice.

Forgot to mention, check up the clavicles also.
Just pose in front of the mirror and if possible get the same light direction
that you're thinking in that photo.
I couldn't tell you how to check the lighting properly, but the length
    of the shadows look questionable.

Nice first post [in 3 years] I'd say you should post more often.
My first post actually wasn't that long ago either, and yep, it took me 3 years also

    Behehehehe.
Under the right circumstances we're not that different.
We love our beer as much as the next guy.

But believe me, we've got different species here also.

I like the values and mood. The ars don't seem to be resting on the feet though.
