I like it a lot, I myself have a lot of troubles with mountains and rocks in general.. I tend to over do the texture and not so much sculpting the rock itself..

I think you did well! nice atmospheric effects too!

Nice work! I think the rainy haze makes it dull but that's really just the nature of the scene because of the weather. It looks fairly dreamlike to me though I think because it's done very softly and also because of the thickness of the fog in the distance. To make it more interesting be try hardening some of the edges so the viewer's eye has something to rest on. I find my own eye moving towards area of detail and contrast but it's still pretty soft and fuzzy (which is perfectly fine it just depends on what you want out of it) but if you create some sharper areas, it'll create a bit more movement and dynamic in the piece I think.
I hope that helps. Best of luck!

Don't listen to what they say about using big brushes. You've blocked it in, now get in there with some tiny brushes and detail it. Rock isn't smooth and this what is lacking, especially in the foreground.

    Nice subject, I'm impressed.

    Focus

Looks great the way it is. It's got the "man against the elements" effect. If I were to do anything to it, I'd show more focus in the foreground and maybe more clouds in the far background.

I really like the colours and atmosphere, it feels like a rainy and quite eary weather, and its nice to see that captured. You could a little blue to the skiy in the back to push it back though.

    Cheers
