Checking all your great art work motivated me to start a sketchbook too. I'm a beginner but don't be to soft on me, I need the crits
I'll be posting mostly my school assignments but i'll try to do some free work to. And I don't realy now how to do the attachment thing to post work so i'll check that out.

Started to paint a bit, this is one off my first digital paintings so it will probably take me for ever to finish it, but I enjoy doing it so it's not realy a problem, there's only the beautyfull weather that may tempt me to take a longer break, comments welcome
here's my finished subD product, now I'm up for a Aston Martin DB5
and I'll try to scan or photograph my sketchbook beacause there's more 3d in here than drawings/paintings, sorry for that, I don't realy know if it's the right place to post this.
nice stuff i think you need to work a litte on your colors, it looks to me like you dont change your color when shading, and that dont looks realistic. paint from some refs and try to remember how the color works
thx for the comments, yeh that's one of the things Jens Claessens told us to do on the workshop he gave a our school (great workshop btw),
I'm doing my (first) selfportrait right now so here's a wip and some sketchess.
Hello Puppet. Cool you dropped by. And thx for the comment. I will work on it.
I didnt know you had a sketchbook here!?
Nice work btw and good progress.
Maybe you should sketch some more. It will help you improve your style and give your work more personality and 'karakter'.
Keep it up, you're doing a good job!
thx for the comments, Yeh I'll try to sketch as often as possible, schoolyear is almost over so I'll have a lot of time to practice, but for the moment exams are comming close so I'll be mostly working on my final assignments
little update for today
nice sketches here. i like the face study, which has good skin tones (counting that your ref photo was very yellow. it feels like you compensated for it which must have been quite painful)
its always useful to draw the skull with a similar expression in full flesh, but what happened? it looks so flat which also happened with the screaming face.
thx, yeh it's always nice to see your own work presented at infodays :p, certainly for someone without any artistic background, I'm at the end of my first year and in my last post you can see some wip of final assignment ccs and 3d
wip 3d car

about your indian character, I think it would greatly help the illustration if you defined a light source or two, to help give the painting depth. It's a little flat right now. a great way to study how to make a good light source would be to study some MMA photos: http://www.mmaphotography.com/
