Very, very nice work. I love the motion, it makes it come to life.

I like the class projects on the previous page - they give you some interesting projects.

A break is sometimes good as then you can go back with renewed vigour, but don't leave it too long.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

great stuff, lots of improvement here. Between all the different styles, the 3d work and everything Id say you are a modern day renaissance man. The character designs and illustrations are really nice and professional looking. About the only thing I could recommend is if you havent seen kchens figure drawing notes yet their really good http://analyticalfiguresp08.blogspot...&max-results=7
    keep up the good work.

Thanks a lot surf I'll definitely check that link out.

Sorry about the lack of updates this last month. I've started several projects lately, but the comp I do art on doesn't have internet, plus I don't have a scanner. Soon though I will post, hopefully tonight!

    Okay, time for an update...

I'm modeling one of the characters for my senior project. Here is the design. She is going to have a jacket, and the lower leg needs to be redone:

Here's the start of modeling. I modeled the whole body in ZBrush but you'll see more of that later:

This is the setting I'm going to render her in. Obviously lots of detail to come:

Here's an illustration that was gonna be for CHOW 200. It won't be eligible but I'll prolly finish anyways:

Early stages of modeling an Audi TT:

Here's the start of a portrait for one of my senior project characters:

I'm working on a storyboard for a game trailer for my senior project. Still rough and incomplete:

Love the look of the chow. Great to see you breakout the watercolours again.

    Duuuuuuuuuuuude!
You are working nonstop on this project, It's great to see such enthusiasm. I have neglected our SSG a bit because I haven't had that much personal time.
The last guy's face, or rather the pose, looks a bit awkward to my eyes, like the perspective isn't working so good.

    Keep it up mate!

Rotor, thanks for stopping by man! Is there a specific facial feature that seems out of perspective to you?

Here is a WIP for CHOW and a WIp for another character in my project:

Here are some recent WIPs... First some random alien king portrait. Next, a potential cover for my graphic novel project. And lastly a architectural doodle that I probably won't finish.

I'm digging the tech stuff like metal fingers too. The character illos are nice, but Gideon Ruth's arms are kinda short in the model sheet thing. Keep up the good work, can't wait to see the last one fleshed out more

Wow, you've improved so much! I love all the characters, they're persons, it's so good to see they're not just a pretty exterior! And Boris is the most adorable thing I've seen in ages.

Now I guess I'd better get back to updating my own SG before I die of shame

Thanks guys I'll be sure to check out the arms for Gideon. Also I'm working on a 3d armored vehicle so progress on that will come up pretty soon.

Here is an environment I'm working on. The structure is a large, fortified city. I'm working on modeling this scene because the perspective on it right now is pretty crappy.

Thank you! glad you are liking it!

Here is a digital sketch for my first project in my typography class. I have to do the final version by hand though, still haven't settled on how I'm going to do it. Due tomorrow, so I better figure it out.

And this is actually a month or two old but i think i forgot to post it. it's a WIp spread for my senior project graphic novel (the novel itself is not the project but i though i would do a few pages of it anyways). I don't know, from what you can tell do you think this would be a workable style?
