CC on the top one i think the pupil needs to be darker to be a focal point
bottom left is V good bottom right i don't like as much i think its the hands and the composition which put me off but all the same good.
the bear i like the colours used in the top right but the rest im sorry to say i didn't like over all i think your work is very good sorry to be a "critic" but i tried to make it constructive hopefully lol

Well, saying something is shit and walking off is a hollow 'opinion.' Saying something is shit and pointing out why and what you need to do to fix it is a critique....what you should be asking for is the latter....not the other way around. So develop some thick skin because the more you get the better off you'll be in the long run.

Still, having said that I think its safe to say that you still need to grasp some the basic fundamentals, especially in areas of composition, color, lighting, and values, because right now you seem be struggling in those departments...but let me emphasize that's OKAY! We've all had to start somewhere and believe me, my forway into the digital was a lot worse - and I was spoiled enough to have a tablet on hand, rather than courageously employ a mouse like you have been doing. Still, my advice would be that until you get yourself tablet, grab a sketchbook and start drawing. Start easy, sketch from greyscaled photographs, draw the objects around you, like that paper weight on your desk. Learn to observe and reinterpret on paper, then study the works of the old masters. The more you do this you'll start to develop a stronger intuition when handling composition and other facets. Right now using just a mouse with painter won't get you very far, as its forcing you to uncomfortably render something in an unhealthy amount of time without learning much. Save the mouse for after you get a grasp of the fundamentals, then you can show us how much of a badass you are for churning out something amazing with such primitive tools

The eye is definatly the best in my opinion.

and dude, accept the critics, they're only there to help you and make the work better.

I'm agree with AdventDawn and clockworksnail, those are very good piece of advice.
In any case, my first tablet was the cheapest one in the market and it was much better than trying to paint anything with the mouse.

Right now, I think it would be really helpful to not draw as much from your imagination but do studies. Get out your keys, desk, mouse, watch, pants, shoes, etc. and just draw them. Get some gray scale portraits and try to understand and break done those in a sketchbook. I don't think you need to be doing this stuff in painter, because I feel to improve at a faster rate you will need to draw alot with a pencil and paper from life.

You really should listen to the others and do some studies, you seem to have only little sense for the 3rd dimension in things and thinking dimensional is absolutely necessary for everything related to drawing.
I also highly recomend a good book about perspective and color theory.
The bear and the last pic with the horses are ok but the rest - to put it bluntly - hurt my eyes pretty much.
You shouldn't use so many colors and not in high chroma as you do now, use only a few in different gradients instead. You have to learn how colors work together and which color combinations are comfortable for the watchers eyes

Good work, your environments have potential, but pencils are usefull for building up basic skills.

    Or pen, paint, whatever.

Just don't get too familiar with digital too soon, otherwise, you'll find it hard to improve in non-digital media.

hey man been looking at alot of stuff and want to say you got potential to be a great artist and i know how bad it sux not having a tablet (in the same boat thats why no pics on here yet: P) doing studies sucks i know i mean its not what you really want to draw but dosent mean only work on that but the rest of these guys are right should do more actuall pen/pencil sketching try getting a small mannequin to really help and you should brush up on some anatomy i find doing studies of the human body and muscle structure improve oneself immensly, but man good luck and hope to see some of your stuff in the future. keep sketchin
