Great job with the first post drawings
I really like the Guy's face shape exaggerated like that
also the clothing on the girl is really cool
    quite different and unique
maybe work a little background into it?

The new pinup is coming along quite well
    I like the hairstyle alot
reminds me of those old pinup hairdos
also the way you have the right arm.. i can picture her holding one of those thin lady cigarette thingys
it seems like the perfect pose hehe
cant wait to see how it turns out
    goodluck

dude, great start. I really like your style. As for the pinup style girl, I think her stomach looks weird because it feels like you arent fully accounting for her hips. That area feels really small to me.

either way, youve got alot of style and I really would like to see where you go with it

Real nice stuff mate. The portraits are real nice, though they could use some more dynamics when it comes to the size of your brushstrokes.

You should try blocking out the hair with a large brush instead of painting it strand by strand. If there is light hitting the hair block in the values in masses and then render individual strands here and there .

There really is no wrong way to render hair(as is anything in art) since different approaches creates different effects/conclusions. But blocking in masses before going into strands does cut down on time .

Jason Chan renders hair really well in his thunderdome DVD.

Damn I love your stylized work! I hope to be able to come up with my own style when I get realism down to near perfection (might be never T_T). Your lines are nice too! Keep it up!

i like your hatchy way! i for one am trying to develop that style myself! ^^ i don't like blending to much..

anyways, your anime style is very soft and awesome too! do you copy the layer and apply a gaussian blur to it?
nice colour sense and what can i say?! just keep up those little studies!!
and about your 3rd post with the girl, i'd suggest the left hand towards her, perhaps on a necklace? and the other one..i am not sure..perhaps on a hard surface?
about her stomach: it looks weird to you and me because you combined two perspectives so to say; curve the left part (the front part) more on the angle of her back and it'll be fine ^^

    i hope you'll have a nice day!

Philly13 : Thank you! Hopefully ill get more motivated to post my stuff here

BlackDelphin : Gasp! u found out my secret. I do put little bit of gaussian blur! I usually draw those "anime" style in btool and the lines done come out as clean as i like so sometimes i put blur to soften it up a bit.
Thank you for the feedback on that girl. I hope i get around to finishing her :s
