Hey you've got a nice sketchbook, but i noticed a thing. You are rushing a lot on your paintings. Most of the stuff looks like you had no time to finish it up or you didn't felt like. I had this before often. I knew how the image looked in my head, so i didn't feel like to finish it. Could be different with you. I see much potential. Love the screencap studies, but I just know one(the second one is Magneto, and maybe the one with the door might be Bruce Willis. ...)

    Cheers

@Qikalain: hm, maybe you're right. but acutally (atm) i don't want to spent too much time on refining and polishing instead i want to try more/learn more other stuff.. if you meant that? but if you would point out special things that appears for you (you mentioned that, maybe i just don't see if something's not finished, and others are worrying what the hell that should be :I )
regarding the screencaps.. i don't know the films myself, i was just browsing through some screencaps (i'll post the site if you want, i just have to look at my bookmarks then) but i as far as i can remember it wasnt bruce. but magneto is right (::

    'Talent is a myth.
There's no evidence that talent actually exists.
Nothing in the DNA studies points to some mysterious gene
that can be identified as a talent for art, photography,
painting, basketball, pinball, running, medicine, etc.
    Talent is built, not possessed.
If it's in the epigenetic material,
it would've been there since the dawn of man.
Clearly, Cro-Magnon man did not have a gene for ping pong.
I like this very much, I am writing it down to my book.
My brother died in Austria, I am emotionally connected to this country.
My brain cannot function in a correct manner at this moment
so I could give you a constructive feedback, but if you stick
around I will try to come again, and to be more useful.

Heya! You have a nice eye for color and I'm severely digging that latest landscape image you did. It feels so simple yet it conveys precisely what it should. The road is the only thing that feels too flat, might lack some darker values. I think that you should push your linework a bit more in some of your studies and paintings, it can get too soft and floaty.

Fantastic sketchbook! Your studies are great, nice and clean confident lines. Some ballpoint sketches would be cool

_kevin_: yee, i definitly spend not equal time on all the paintings, i'll take care of that.
_Spellsword95: ooh thanks y3. you want ballpoint? i give you ballpoint! (wait for it! ) - i think it's a great practice (the frazetta studiines, but 2 days? i thinnk i didn't work more than hmm 30to60min on one of those - great practice though, but i wouldn't have the patience (or pleasure) to stay that long. need to paint mooar ^.^

_Flaskpost:; haha, yee everybody seams to do it (reasonable) - but i just checked, aand it was another blog i think. as far as i can remember. but you did it really well! you nailed it (::

    Gorgeous. Keep those studies coming,
plus I would like some more values and different
    line widths in your drawings.

actually.. i decided not to post here anymore till (at least have got the feeling of) improving a bit more..buuut i would be so thankful for some feedback.. again i don't feel like 'practicing' the right way - not efficient enough - in relation to the amount of time i'm putting in.. and i'm more into drawing lately than in painting (with wacom & ps).. i always grab the pencil instead the wacom pen..
doing my warmup with 60sec poses everyday again, but i'm thinking of changing it to every other day, and instead warm up with photoshop paintings..argh
just a bit from one of my sketchbooks, forgot the other one in my apartment..
a little bit of everything, some from ref (haha, can you spot the selfportraits?) - a bit influenced by great artists sketches and some from imagination

oh and some digital crap too.. D: (i think the problem with myself and digitals is the fact that i cannot keep it loose, simple, and fast.. and i really don't know how i could practice that, because i won't be satisfied with the pic after just one hour > argh

so few digitals from today: this is what happens if i don't overrender .. each 20 minutes or so.. but i actually don't like them too much; i didn't draw the faces before, just painted right in, and i have definitely problems with opacity in painting.. and colours..i tend to get too 'greyisH' because of picking colour. but i'm trying to avoid tha already and pick every colour new from the colour panel/rbg channels - even if i didn't figure how i use it the best.. (trying to look at rin's tut for this). and i don't really know if i should work more towards realistic or continue with the style where i have gone till now..
