    kingacer's sketchbook

Hi I'm Bart Zijlstra (KingAcer) and I decided I should make a sketchbook here.
I'm 18 years old and I live in the Netherlands.
I started drawing a couple of years ago (though I used to draw alot as a kid too) and thought this sketchbook would be a great to keep track of my own progress and possibly get comments and critique so I can improve.
I use a program called gimp (wich is like a free version of photoshop) to colour.
I'll try to post as often as I can.

    Here's some of my stuff:

    Hope you guys like it.

Very nice conceptual start - but i would suggest working more on figure drawing and drawing from life - this will help your art in all areas - keep it up!!! )

Some animals I drew of some pictures, for practice. Not very pretty, but they took me only about 5 min each anyway.
Not even sure If they are worth uploading, but atleast I have something to post in my sketchbook

A creature I drew for another project. Didn't put much time into this one either, but I'm quite happy with it.

As always, I'd very much like to hear what you think of it

kingacer's sketchbook Scanner kinda ruined the detail, but I'm happy with the original.

kingacer's sketchbookColoured version. I'm not really happy with it though..

    Comments welcomed

    kingacer's sketchbook

A rough sketch of a trolls head. It was very much inspired by the artwork of Paul Bonner.
The real image was bigger, but If I posted it any bigger it would look horrible. The scanner totally ruined this picture.
I don't think it's really worth posting anymore, but I wanted something new in my sketchbook.
