    EPIC FAIL---June-30-2009---Bernie Madoff Portrait

Forgot who I was, now I know. I'm not the best artist in town, but I'm the only one around here willing to get bashed in the face for it. Somebody said "Art is a weapon". It is, and I'm going to use it. Feel free to join me.

Enjoy my shitty art work and be constructive with your feedback if you would please. Thanks.

These are both from reference. I used to love Star Wars when I was a kid, still do I guess.

Something I'm working on right now, my big bird. Not sure what I'm really going for here, but we'll see I guess. Just wanted to draw something bigger than I normally do.

Here's a desert doodle and a space ship thingy that everyone says looks like it's from the matrix.

Those enviros are turning out really nice. I'd suggest to make some studies of composition in thumbnails before starting the pieces, to help defining the planes. Also, cool design on the matrix thing.+

    Good work! keep it up.

Hey thanks a lot, I should do that.

Here is some more traditional things I just did for fun.

Trash Stash ---> acrylic on canvas and indian ink.

No Comment ---> Inspired by street artist Blek Le Rat - Ink on bristol paper.

Been working on some paste up posters for the street, something I'm a big fan of but am just starting myself.

This is one done today in indian ink on news print.

Here is my next paste up. Work in progress.

Indian ink on 18x24 news print.

I'll paste it tomorrow I'm sure and will update you with a picture of it out on the streets.

These street pieces, what do you mean by paste up? Just interested. The enviros are very noce already, just seem a tad flat. SOme more mood mabe? Also one important lesson I learned here is that detailed and non detailed areas are important for an image, especially enviros. Keep the detail on max in the area of interest.

    Just some thoughts!

    "Enjoy my shitty artwork".........

i'm having a tough time finding the shitty stuff......

seriously though, great work so far. your values are excellent, something i always struggle with. the last eyeball study is freaky and awesome.

love the environments, the first one i like the best, you really captured the brightness of a sunny winter day. good work, hope to see more!

Joe824--- Thanks man, that's much appreciated brother.

    Mischeviouslittleelf--- Thank you, will do.

Janos--- A paste up is when you create an image on paper (in my case news print because it's nice and thin) and you paste it to a wall with home made paste (boiled and mixed flour, water and sugar). Just google paste ups or poster paste ups. Or if you are looking for inspiration google blek le rat. He pretty much started it all. Thanks for the tips and feedback.

I like paste ups because it's considered graffiti (art if you ask me) But you can take your time on it in the comfort of your home. Pasting it only takes a few seconds then you are gone like a phantom. Next day thousands of people will walk or drive by your art.

    bharat--- Thanks bud.
