Great! Keep sharing!
"The superior man is distressed by the limitations of his ability; he is not distressed by the fact that men do not recognize the ability that he has."
hahahaha do you know Will Weston? the figure comps look a lot like the ones he makes us do in class. Nice work, I also checked out your Bargues, you have great momentum going my friend, I commend you for that!
I'd like to share a few thoughts, see if they help you. First off, I can see that you're learning construction, etc, however, I think that you lose it a little bit when it comes to the rendering. That is, your rendering seems to sit on the surface, instead of expressing the larger forms underneath. I think part of it is that you're depending a bit too much on cores to express form at this point.
Obviously cores are great and very useful tools, however, drawing the core in one stroke going "down" the form, doesn't always lend itself to the same feeling of form that you get from going across the form. I realize these are probably fives, save for this one
but I would say ignore tone for a little while and really construct, and focus on getting a solid feeling of form, without tone. Then when you add tone it'll just make it stronger. Right now, you lose the construction here . the mouths don't sit on the tooth cylinder, etc
that's a good example. It also shows how loose you can be in the beginning gesture. Right now you're a little stiff in the beginning.
Last thing, on the long pose of the woman, try to push the planes of/around the eyes to really get a turn, right now that area's going flat. Also, I don't feel that her septum is tucking in as it should, you need another tone there to push the form back in space.
hope this helps,
Very nice life drawings, great work. Keep posting please.
Some new works
Academic drawing for 3 days, finished.
Head Drawing for 2 days
The fact that you get some of these renderings done so quickly is insane to me. The three day pose with the woman doesn't have the full value range in the figure but I'm sure if you had a couple more days you'd have it.
The guy's portrait seems a bit strange because his face is the size of an adult male, but the back portion of the skull seems very small (though there is foreshortening happening).
That's about all I can add. The figures are magnificent!
Thanks le dominator. I always thought there was something wrong with the head, but I just couldn't find out what it was.

Your figure invention skills are awesome! It's been great seeing how much you've improved.
