Amazing work! A pleasure to look through!

I'm curious, what tools do you use to create these pieces?

    What's next on your list?

Very inspiring, thank you and keep it up!

merl1n - Thank you, and thanks for commenting

UnderSlept - Thanks, I use angle and die grinders for cutting and shaping the the various parts and a mig welder to stick them all together. Right now I'm working on a six foot long T. rex, if all goes well, I'll be finishing up in a couple weeks.

    Regards
    Andrew

    New one!

In the Timmyverse, the T. rex is a scrap metal shredder and compactor. Although ferocious looking, it's quite well mannered and would never intentionally eat a functioning robot.

In our universe, the T. rex is six feet long and about 24 inches at the hip, weighs somewhere around 40 lbs. and took about 300 hours to build.

Let me know what you think. Be honest, I can take it.

    Regards

Oh my god! I can't fathom the thought that went into that! Looking at the articulation you achieved is humbling. It's as if you are your own kind of nature and make things function as they would in real life allthough with a different approach.

This is your best one yet.

You need to do a giant silverback ape. That's the one with the giant arms. I feel as though you would be able to translate it's distinctive shale really well into your metal creation.

    I applaud.

    Hi all,

It's been a while since I last posted, here's what I've been working on lately. The gorilla is almost 4 feet tall, weighs roughly 100 lbs and is made from old transmission parts, tubing, sheet steel, 1/4" rod and a very long plumber's snake. As always, all hints, tips, and criticism is gratefully received and appreciated.

    Regards
    Andrew

Monstrous! I love that you built him balanced enough to stand without fear of falling over. Absolutely perfect!

Are they in a gallery somewhere or you keep them at home?

EDIT: I read the thread and looks like 2 years ago I suggested you make an ape. And you did exactly that! Wow.
There were also talks about your desire to have a movie made based on your Timmyverse by Tim Burton and I provided some contact information I found. did you end up trying it out?

    Hope all is well!

Chucco, Black Spot, Chris Sanders, Aqualeot - Thank you very much
Lewston - I sell made to order versions, I keep the originals as templates and make copies to fill orders. Lag time is usually twelve weeks.
Zets - Good to hear from you, I checked out your personal site, cool work! Disturbing but cool.
Quike Garcia - Yes, all the joints lock in place, the pieces would be dangerous if they didn't
Pavel Sokov - Yes, I took your advice regarding the gorilla, good call! It's by far the most complex thing I've done, and at the moment, my favorite. I ended up getting an agent soon after you suggested contacting Tim Burton and I've left that part of the business to her. That said, no lit deals have been forthcoming so I may have to look into it myself.

    Regards
    Andrew

    Greetings,

This lion is a little smaller than the others, 18 inches at the shoulder and weighs somewhere around 50 lbs. Made from the usual transmission parts, tubing, and 20 gauge sheet steel.
