My brother-in-law, Mark Molen, drew this tank way back in 1973, and I've been obsessing about building it for years.

The tank is about 13" long 22" high and weighs about 20-25 pounds. The head and radar dish rotate, and you can fire bottle rockets out of the main and side guns

One obsession down, twenty seven to go.

    Regards
    Andrew

    taeyoungchoi, thomsontm - thanks

IanE thanks, coincidentally, Mark (the original artist) is a massively talented, very successful architect. One of his more famous designs is the recently completed Guangzhou airport in China.

Omg. They are genius. I like their friendship. That's remind me of Tim Burton.
I really hope one of the Hollywood guy see this one. So they will make animation base on those characters.

Man where do you store all these? You must have a huge hangar or something to put them safely

Anyway, watching all the illustrations from 'Timmy' feels like seeing a bunch of stills from a movie. It looks absolutely amazing!
When do you plan to publish the book?

You truly have something special going here. I am looking forward to seeing your work in a full length stop motion animated movie or at the very least in a gallery someplace. From the pictures and your descriptions I want to experience them in person.

I certainly hope you have a large supply of transmission part and keep up the inspiring works.

Awesome work. I mean really, really amazing.

Those last images are very cool. I'm a photo retoucher during the day, and they really remind me of a day at work. They look like the Color Efex tonal contrast was applied to them, or something similar. I love that look.

Tommy007, Ikage, Lotet, JellevdVegt - Thank you very much.

Lunarsis - Thanks, I'm not familiar with Color Efex, I used the Lucis Art 3 ED filter to give the illustrative (word?) look.

Oh man... how cool... I think we may be brothers seperated at birth. I also have a flair for this kind of weirdness. Absolutely wonderous work you have there. It go's way beyond cool.
I also just finished my first book and I am exploring the possibility of self publishing. Amazon has a deal where they sell your book and print copies as it sells. I think they charge 30 percent which is a steal in the publishing world. With a publisher you are lucky to get 10 percent pay back, so Amazon's deal seems very sweet. Give it some thought. My editor just did this for a client and I would be glad to hook you two up so she could at least advise you somewhat.
    Good luck.

^^^Send this to Tim Burton. Seriously. These scenes should be translated into a short film at least. Sick.

Mah ' Crub-Thanks for the tip, I didn't know amazon was doing that, I'll look into it.
