great work, your environments have so much texture to them is your brushes that create that effect or is it how you use the brush? Also what brush sets do you use to create clouds and various other texture? awesome work though, so keep it up

Man, I still want to watch you paint landscapes some time.

That last fanart is epic! Nice composition, lighting, and sense of scale.

Dang man...I learned a lot from just looking at your work. Especially tress. I love the art rage studies. I mean they look like real paintings with the light reflecting. O.O I'm hyped and pumped to draw now. thanks man

sanakris Oh thank you for checking my stuff out, yeh trees are hard to paint I would say, but Im glad u could learn something from it!, yeh artrage is fun, its just abit hard too! im too used to the photoshop brushes.

xbrianx Hehe Thanks alot! im glad u enjoyed my sketchbook.

Cacodaemonia Oh yeh Thanks, will try to record something sometime, I have tried alot of recording programs and for some reason they all fail at some point, like not saving the recordings properly, but I will keep looking into it

rattsang Thanks alot, yeh more will come!

Kuidf^! Thanks alot im glad u like them!, yeh for the most parts the textures comes from brushes in the more landscape paintings, but those paintings with alot of pipes, wall textures and such I tend to use alot of photo's, to save some time.

But also and important thing aswell is to use abit of "Unsharp Mask" , its a photoshop filter, it makes everything abit sharper in the picture and that makes texture brushes stand out more, so I tend to use that on almost all my pictures.

As for what brushes I have been using. I have used some of Whit Brachna's brushes, and some of my own, but yeh from this point, all brushes I use are my own, I have been creating alot of them

And yeh I tend to use alot of the standard photoshop chalk and round brushes too because they dont have any textures which is also good, but I think I just lowered the spacing on them to 5%

    mariusz Thanks alot!

    One more picture.

Great use of color here and a great "feeling for textures"(your pieces have)!
I most like your green (grass etc), primarily in your first threadpage, where you used a lot of it.

The only and very little critique I had was that at first glance the runway in #39 looked a bit strange. But now it looks good... don't know what the problem was anymore aaaaargh ... couldn't be too distinct. Sorry

    Waiting for more

that last one is really good, maybe it could be more saturated sometimes in order to have more contrast, but this is just my taste. Good job anyway, keep it up

timer Thanks alot!, yeh abit more saturation could help too I think. you had some great stuff in your sketchbook too! keep it up

aaro_n Cheers thanks alot! Glad u like it

Eiki Thanks alot im glad u like my stuff!, yeh I will try to paint more grass! cuz I love doing it, atleast when its not too close to the viewer.

As for the runway piece, yeh I can understand if it looks odd somehow cuz I feel that too, It might be that the white road lines are not getting big enough towards the viewer, also the road is just cut off, it would help if would hint or show some of the road in the distanse.

Also those rocks next to the road looks abit wierd, their shapes doesnt makes sense , but also the shading and highlights on those rocks are too rushed, some of it doesnt fit the shape very well and it sort of makes it worse.

The man with no name Oh thanks alot!, yeh and I will try to post more pictures so there is a reason to check the sketchbook more often hah, sometimes I dont post mutch at all.
Yeh having some reference while painting can help with colors for the mood, since alot of colors that happens in real life works great together sort of.

Wow your enviroments are just unbelievable. Soo good. Can you tell me how you get that sharp look on your brushes. I mean that the edges look harder than the middlepart of the line. I hope you get what I mean.
