    Wow you've come a really long way in a short amount of time!

    I think it was on page 5? I know what you meant about CHOW... I used to get discouraged but now I appreciate how the voting is a biggest reality check. Hey and you've got yourself a CHOW star now! Nice work man... keep it up, you're an inspiration. I was supposed to get serious with drawing around the same time you started this thread but I've been floundering around... this is jsut proof of what could have been acheived in that time.

    Well done. PS: I really loved your last entry!

    Great progress on your work.

    This: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1283616103 reminds me of Nishka from the Firefly series. Its only a slight likeness, but it brought him to my mind. The sinister look carries over.

    Thank you for your comments and encouragement, people. I`ll respond as soon as I can (I`m having some issues with my college and it`s administration, so my head is all over the place 9_9).

    Anyways - sketchbook doodles (mostly w/o refs...>.< !), unfinished ChOW, my entry for this years ComicCon challenge (Mystique as a kid, which I`ll most likely won`t finish in time, due to...already said reasons), and a "speshul treat" - guess who finally managed to save enough money to get his copy of "Dynamic figure drawing"!!!

    @Nicky - Hah, thanks m8, but I`m still not nearly as good as I should be. My progress is unfortunately very slow, which at times makes me feel like I`m very, very stupid. LOL

    Anyways, I`ve enjoyed these past 3 days - I no longer have a TV, which gives me a lot more "free time", so I`m actually drawing more a day than before. Sweet! anyways - 2 studies and 2 mind doodles. I`m so bad at drawing faces, it hurts! Wah!

    Pencils, here I come! But first, I have to find my headphones (My neighbor has a new girlfriend and our walls are very thin...you do the math...o.O)

    Hi There. Your Lady in the Water ChOW is ridiculous, it's so good! You've made a crazy amount of progress since the start of this book a year and a half ago. Good grief! Keep it up!

    nic updates! I'm not really fond of the paint of the bunny in your last post tho, to me it just feels like an overuse of the same patterns in the grass and bushes and the bunny doesnt stand out at all which makes you focus more on the grass etc, while in the paitn below your brushwork looks really good.

    But that's just one thing, i really love your other work. I really digged the mystique piece for comicon, did you get a chance to finish it?

    @NickTrip - Thanks m8!
    @Lav - Thanks sweetbuns! Yea, that bunny image was actually screen captured from my crashing PS, and once I reopened it i just...threw a bunny in there. But hey - you guessed it was a bunny! So yay!

    Anyways, some more doodles. Also, I celebrated my 26th this Monday, so I decided to treat myself - instead of buying a cake, I drew one (well, half-assed it), and bought my first Moleskine! The paper is just...*o*...so I filled last 2 pages of it with mind doodles, just for the lulz once I fill it up. Oh boy, I can`t wait!

    Yea, also - this thread is in desperate need of figure studies, anatomy studies and boobs. Guess with which one I`ll start...

    @insanelight - Thank you!
    @Lav - -_- (evil glare)...you...ATE...it..!!! Well, at least one of us got some. Wait, what?
    @Loathsome -Hah, yea, you know what they say - whatever it takes!

    Daily study. Metal/glas/shiny surfaces are HARD. But soooooo sweet to paint! I`m definitely cranking out several more of these! And just making a study made me feel kinda proud, and then I felt good about myself, and had a nice day. Why the hell didn`t I do it before? Well, not any more. Daily studies as mood uppers FTW!!! ^_^

    @The7Artist7 - Thank you! But I drank my beer as well...all out now :/
    @ Obstfelder, JSpayde & brambor - Thanks, guise!
    @ Sushy - I`s a post-it container-do-hickey kind of thingy. But I never use it! Still, now it DOES have a purpose
    @SnobbyOo - Hey Mann, toll dich hier zu sehen! Ja, Deutsch SPRECHE ich, aber mit dem Schreiben geht es leider nicht so toll. Bleh

    So, 2 more metallic studies. I started to worry about how reflections react on different shapes, not knowing what to use, and then it hit me - duh, tinfoil! I can shape it any way I want to and then observe what happens. Cool stuff, that tinfoil...cool stuff. Having problems with those tiny creases, so I`ll observe it a bit more tomorrow. Also - did you know that shadow areas actually reflect secondary light color (if there is a secondary light source, otherwise it reflects colors from the surrounding space), and that every highlight is followed by a shadow?! Wha, who knew, right? Well, maybe you have, I didn`t...till now that is.

    Life studies FTW!
