    The Unburied

I roughed this guy out last night... he's a badguy from the upcoming video game, Diablo III. Called "The Unburied"..."Being born out of pits of human misery, these beings feed on human suffering. Wherever bodies are dumped together unceremoniously, the unburied may rise."

This hulking brute is done with Fuse, right from the start. I think I am going to start my sculpts with clay or sculpey from now on, then switch to wax with waste molds. I am having a hard time getting organic shapes, like folds, etc right from wax, so I need to practice more.

I'll put in a lot more details as I go, keep refining, fix the skull sizes, and shapes, etc.

He is wicked looking. And, thanks for the link as well. Diablo has always been one of my favorite games. It's very nice to see that Blizzard is resurrecting this classic, one more time.

Very nice start. So far it seems like you have got the form down and a lot of the detail is there too. Blizzard always comes up with very interesting and this one is no different. Keep going cant wait to see the progress.

Hey, Jason. As I've said elsewhere, I'm spreading my comments around to support you in a few places.

I'm interested in your challenges with the organic elements. I caught a quick view of your process over at CH, but it appears that you've struck on a way to handle the folds/tension in the skin without too much difficulty. I'm curious if you've found the process works for larger elements as well or seems better applied to smaller areas.

Of course, I love beasts like this. Keep it coming.
