Groarr! _ (update: sep 14) last post on page 57

Ok Algenpfleger said he will update his sketchbook today if I open a thread. how could I resist? D: Frankly, I thought about opening a sketchbook before o_o
so Hello everyone! I was lurking around here for ages and its great to have a place where I can post my studies and sketches.
Here we go - some recent stuff:

Groarr! _ (update: sep 14) last post on page 57

    studies from life:

some sketches - excuse me, the lines are so inspired by Alex Pascenko. I looked at his stuff very often lately, he rocks D:

Tried to render a sketch (unfinished), I dont really get the idea of rendering. I think its much easier to use a big digital brush to put some values on it (but I reeeeaally admire everyone who is good at rendering):

Ah, and maybe give your thread a thumbnail? If you attach a small file via the attachment manager, that should work.

Your digitals are amazing (the one of the desk with the computer screen and all, is my favorite)

    Hey and welcome!

Veeery impressive first post in your SB! Your pencil lines make me drool And since you're pretty good at rendering in PS, I'm sure that you could master it traditionally as well with practice The skills are there, I'm sure, just dormant!

Well, looking forward to seeing this one expand!

    edit:
Your drawings are also top notch (algenphleger has a very similar drawingsstyle)
Wow, just was I was thinking! I guess having a joint inspiration source leads to that

    Oooooooooh... Aaaaaaaaaaaah.... Uuuuuuuuooohhhh!!!

Endlich!!! I subscribed and rated 5 stars before even looking at it, as I knew this would be awesome. Yaaaay, and I'm on the first page of this SB now. Can't wait to follow your process.
It's very interesting to see more of your pencils, because most of the stuff you upload on dA is digital (was natrlich auch groartig ist)...

D'ah, now I'm excited I'll have to put this energy into drawing... Thank you!!!

wow great stuff every time he put a collab in his sketchbook and mentioned jana i kept thinking to myself,"who the hell is jana?!" well now i know lol

anyways...your colors are fantastic, and so is your rendering ability. the first one is great with the orange colors and everything, and your studies are great, especially the carafe. i also looked through your deviantart gallery and its also exellent. definitely glad he had you make a sketchbook and i'm sure i'm not alone

keep up the good work and take care,

Ah, finally! it's fantastic that you opened up this thread now. Welcome! ^_^

These sketches with the figures with many arms and legs... They're quite confusing to look at. But your lines generakly are great.
