awesome, dude! and as i already told you, the maquette is tight !
finishing the last one will give you aaaaalot EXP's! so, go for it !
Great Sketchbook. Your spaceships sketches are looking great. If I have a suggestion it would be to push one of your design to a more finished state. And also try to make your presentation plate more attractive.. Later you could work on a whole illustration of that same spaceship evolving in a specific context which would sell better your design...

bin grad auf dein Sketchbook gestossen und muss sagen sehr cool.
Bin froh dass mittlerweile auch viele Deutsche hier posten, das heisst die Industry kann sich warm anziehen

Finally updates again! Neat stuff : )
Neat? that´s cute, thank you :-*
finally vacation, guess they are going to be pretty awesome lots of drawing @home in my hometown.
thus i finished the little figure and had to do a little report with lots of WIPs, want to share it with you blablabla
but first: one day left to work on this oldie: first time i really worked with textures...did so much stuff wrong/stupido - I learned a lot ...even though still looks a little bit shitty I guess there is too much detail/texture at the wrong places.
here we go:
here the WIPs and Final Maquette:
Have a good day!
@KibaKiri: thanks for the comment, yup so true...you don´t want to know how hard i fought with those colours :/ need to do studies...
@lastgen: thanks for the comment
no updates lately, have drawn a lot of animals and stuff traditionally, maybe i will scan the stuff later. no time atm. (i will probably never scan them )
however stuff for school i am currently working on, videomoodboard, i want to introduce the watcher to a giant hangar. it´s most about showing big scale and epicness^^
trying to keep the perspektive simple to animate it later (only a spaceship flying through the hangar)
first of all: storyboard.
concept of the spaceship (showing us the hangar)
It´s not really obvious what is happening in the storyboard, but I guess it was only a temporary capture of your ideas. In that case... it´s very functional
I really like the profile view of the spaceship, reminds me of the big mommaships from the matrix movies.
The depth is definitely there and I´m looking forward to the result!
@Kira: thanks, no time to make it look good, it´s actually just for me, but i thought it might be interesting to show it.
love matrix and the stuff - fanboy of george hull and the visual team around matrix. ^^
some pictures are stuck in my head...maybe letting it out is the best way to create new more innovative stuff next time
@Alex, haha, jap, seeing your still painting, too good to see!
@basti: thanks!!! your words and seeing your stuff(especially layers) only make this possible. tried some interior about 1/4 year ago - didn´t manage to do it now i do. thanks for comment and stuff!
no painting yesterday, instead doing stuff for university, this is going to be a challenging race
so here´s stuff from today, speeding up a little, whish i could spend more time in every image...
quick update, busy week, totally messed up the video, maybe i´ll upload it later. though i learned alot especially about after effects. so i´m fine with it.
quick update: these are the final images.I edited all of them in after effects afterwards.
2nd part are some studies from the book: the art of animal drawing by ken hultgrenn. pretty good book, love it. I remember i used to draw a lot of animals as a kid, so time to refresh som knowledge.
comments and crit highly recommended about the spacepaintings put some effort in them.
(images in the order i put them in the videomoodboard)
& a little birdy to say goodbye:
