Hi Danny_K, you improved! Good that you do so many head studies - I did not even start this. Your digital stuff is cool: the light creatures from #367 look very interesting. I agree, You should try some life studies! - And there you go: #390 is a beautiful work, I think it is these things that really help improving the skills. Why not try to draw a head/face from model? Good luck and keep up the hard practice!

You're getting so much better with head planes!! Good job Danny!

With the landscape study, i think you added to many details in the middle ground, so our eyes don't know where to concentrate.
Still, it's ok if you look at it for a while.
    You'll do better next time

Hey man! Looks good and solid. Liking all the studies and all the work you're putting into everything.

Take some time out and do a piece from imagination applying everything you've learnt. Spend a couple of hours on it and it will HELP! big time
From there on, find weaknesses. Kill, destroy or tear them apart. Which ever is best for you

    Take care!

BlackDelphin thank you dear I rush things not because I want to but because I have no time, I am working full time at Denny's now and doing side jobs and still trying to find time for my studies which is hard O_O so I rush sometimes and the result is not as I want it to be but I try my best )

lilnebo Oh man it's sure good to see you back here! hehe, and that is a very good advice there, thank you!

krel yeah dude, no excuses for myself I draw at every spare minute I have every day now, I have a dream and I have a goal and I will reach that goal and will live that dream some day no matter what.

A photo still study around an hour and a half, it was perfect for the amount of time I had to spent on a study, so not many colors here only form and lighting effects, pretty powerful subject I might say. I learned tons from this one.
I should be at bed an hour ago but heck who needs sleep right!? I'm freakin' pumped up1!@

They remind me of Well's aliens for some reason.
    Great mood Danny.

It is good that you can draw at all. I am sometimes so tired, that i just want to get in my bed and sleeep.
Perhaps try and start something, take it slow, and work on it several days. Don't rush to see the final result

You keep up your won pace, inspiring
But remmember, more life studies, definitely more.
I would't focus on those fancy shots at all at this point, do alot of still life's
portraits in charcoal and pencil and then pick good photos to study from.

You are going to be awesome, just keep at it, sorry but that's all i can say right now i'm to tired to think. Cheers.

    I got the job!!!!

Hey guys I had to share with you all that I got the photography job I interviewed for last Friday!!
I am so happy it's just awesome, I will be traveling quite a bit and the company will pay for my Hotels and stuff for overnight stay which will give me time to do lots of studies with my sketchbook on my free time! Can't wait to start it's gonna be lots of work but I will not stop for anything, thank you so much for your support guys it means a lot to me!

Just today while I was working at Denny's the area manager came up to me and told me that I shouldn't touch my hair after washing hands, she is right but the way she told it to me was so Blah that I wanted to puke on her face...
